Who DOESN'T love Kestra Troi-Riker?!

starfleettanner

I totally became amazed and just impressed by her the first instance we met her. The character was portrayed so well and natural, I seriously would consider the actress for a best actor award. She's one that at least deserves a Short Trek in the near future and explore more of her nature and why she is the way she is.

I was not entirely impressed, perhaps because in my opinion, the dialogue for most of the episode was off. This makes me an outlier, apparently.

I did like the introduction. It reminded me of when we first met René Picard: JL puts his arms up and jokes that his nephew is going to rob him.

I thought she was kind of annoying at first, but significantly improved as the episode went on. I hope we see her again.

Definitely what I would imagine the daughter of Riker and Troi would be like. Too bad we didn't get to meet Thaddeus. Hopefully Kestra returns somewhere down the line.

She was a pretty good character but he dialogue wasn’t pretty weird at times. Especially at the start.

Seemed almost 'awkward' ... funny how that happens many times when folks first meet.

Especially when young folks with limited life experiences are involved.

I found some of her facial expressions a little odd, but can't quite say exactly why.
The made-up languages are just weird as well to me

I thought the character and the actress were great. She's potentially someone who could carry Star Trek into the future-- if Star Trek has a future.
