I adored Kestra! The sisterly bond between her and Soji was wonderful, especially on the heels of Soji learning about Dahj's murder. I do hope we see her again down the line.

I don't.
She was too precocious, the typical kid character as written by adults. Within the limitations of that stereotype I think the actress did a solid job and the writing was meant to pull at the heart strings. But it wasn't a very believable portrayal considering that it seems PIC is about trying to shave the stiff, "enlightened", unrealistic human interactions and dialogue of TNG.
