Which Trek actors are the biggest fans?

When you work for years at something, 16 hours a day, you either love it and want to cherish it - or you close the door and move on. Honestly, I can't blame any actor for not wanting to be glued to their Trek character for a lifetime. As fans, we expect so much from these people. But it's wonderful to see the ones who have an enthusiasm and passion for their role, their show, the message, the franchise, etc.

Without getting into a bitter discussion about actors who are not fans, who are some of the Trek actors that convey a genuine love of Trek and never seem to tire of being called Captain, Commander, Ensign, etc.?

Spiner and Shatner IMO.

There's probably quite a few. Scott Bakula is one that comes to mind. He always seems to have positive things to say about his involvement with Star Trek, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy. He's always said he'd be willing to come back in some fashion as well (though it always seems to have a touch of realism involved--I remember him saying he wouldn't mind coming back in one of the Abramsverse movies...but at the same time I got the impression in the way he worded it that he really wasn't expecting any calls).

You could tell it's a Monday. At first I was like "I don't get". Then like a switch I was like Data in Generations "I GET IT".

Though at least it didn't take me 8 years

Hmm. Thinking of Combs...and Armstrong for that matter....I wonder if they'll show up on Discovery or Picard at all. It's to the point it won't feel like a Star Trek show without them at this point in some guest starring role.

Most likely in disguise. Their faces are too familiar for the audience....

I met Jonathan Frakes at the Dublin comic con last March. He was an absolute gentleman and did genuinely seem to still have great enthusiasm for all things Trek.

I'm wondering if he is interested in the adventures Riker had aboard Titan....

I saw him at Galaxycon yesterday, and he is indeed a cheerleader for the franchise. He volunteered his admiration for all the people who act on and create ST: DIS.

@Kilana2 Frakes also talked about filming for Picard, and he said he now feels far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.

Yeah. I'd definitely have them as aliens. They both have distinctive voices so fans will already know who they are just by that alone. Don't make it too easy on the audience though. ;)

In the German dubbing Weyoun and Brunt got different voice actors. As both are different characters it was quite understandable. Weyoun shares his German voice actor with Gary Oldman - Brunt doesn't......:D

A few people I would mention: Nana Visitor (who is now the face of the series), Aron Eisenberg, and Garrett Wang (who keeps hosting panels, in spite of his difficult experiences on Voyager).

Oh, yeah. That would make it more of a challenge to ID the actors. Here in the US it's pretty easy since both have distinctive voices.

I have to say I always liked Comb's voice. Esp. as Weyoun. Somehow the smoothness matched the character well. Sort of like the male version of Jennifer Lien. I always loved hearing her speak as well. I always said I'd love to have her read me bedtime stories....her voice is so relaxing and soothing

Udo Schenk is Weyoun's voice actor. When he is the voice actor for other non-Trek characters elsewhere, he makes them sound Weyounish..... :D

Jonathan Frakes, Levar Burton, and Michael Dorn were Star Trek fans from the start. In fact during his audition with John Pike, Levar Burton mentioned that the first Captain of the Enterprise was named Pike. Impressive!

I know Tim Russ from Voyager loved TOS.
