His journey is not complete till he insists Discovery is not based in the Prime universe.
Oh man I'd love to see what that would do to the fandom. There isn't enough popcorn in the universe.

She's a super-fan, as I understand it, and unabashedly geeky about it. I can appreciate that.Mary Chieffo has got to be in the conversation.
If I may ask, why did Terry's affinity for it lead you to watch it?I developed a fondness for Guinan that wasn't there before after learning about Whoopi Goldberg's love of Trek.
Similarly, I didn't watch an episode of DS9 until learning of Terry Farrell's.

That's great. Those 2 have a lot of nice scenes together around the Tongo table. It's worked out splendidly so far. Dax and Quark have quickly become two favorite characters.
Tricia does seem pretty recognizable, but I still have to ask: was she attending the convention dressed in a captain's uniform, by chance?![]()
I didn't know about the theme park! Jordan here I come!King Abdullah II of Jordan I think qualifies as the greatest Trek fan/actor. he's built a partially Trek themed theme park in his country, had a walk on in Voyager that qualifies him as an actor for this thread![]()
It's called the Red Sea Astrarium. It's not quite ready yet. Jordan has had some problems and only recently had to defend itself. (you may remember King Abdulla II himself suiting up for attack runs as an attack helicopter pilot, on da-esh after they burned one of his soldiers to death). But I suspect it will eventually happen. Jordan wants a high tech and tourism economy, as well as filmmaking. (no mistake that one scene in Star Trek Discovery was filmed there).I didn't know about the theme park! Jordan here I come!
As I occasionally point out to people, he's the only Head of State to be on Star Trek.King Abdullah II of Jordan I think qualifies as the greatest Trek fan/actor. he's built a partially Trek themed theme park in his country, had a walk on in Voyager that qualifies him as an actor for this thread![]()

I've been to the region a couple times (to Palestine & Israel), and next time I'll try to swing by there if it's ready! Very informative! It's called the Red Sea Astrarium. It's not quite ready yet. Interesting fact: his father King Hussein as a very avid amateur radio operator, and could often be heard chatting with people around the world. He required everyone in the royal family study and take their tests for a radio license. The kingdom launched its first satellite late last year, and sure enough, it was a ham radio satellite named after the former king's call letters, JY1. So there is a royal who was raised to be a bit of a tech nerd![]()

And Max even sings about it!Max Grodénchik (Rom) and and Aron Eisenberg (Nog) seem like massive fans of the series.
