I voted for the JJ ones but really I like TOS uniforms and all their variants, from the Cage, to the classic TOS, and wraparound tunic, as well as Kelvin Universe interpretations.

I'm odd, I think the monster maroons and the FC/DS9 to be among the worst.
I use to be a fan, but after examining them in detail for costuming research I realized just how much they didn't make sense. They didn't track well with the rest of the Starfleet design language as a daily functioning uniform, as well as having rather odd ranking that was difficult to read.

Favorite overall is FC. Looks functional, comfortable and not overly flashy. FC dress uniform. That's the bomb. I used to hate the monster maroons, but seeing what they look like on someone with a fit physique I grew to appreciate them The collars could be more distinctly colored, tho. I actually kind of like the All Good Things one.

Over time I've softened a lot on TMP. Kir's admiral uniform and McCoy's medical uniform are awesome. The engineering one sucks, and the one that showed off Decker's crotch was just awful. Oh, and Deana Troi's catsuit. So undignified./ All of the catsuits were (7 of 9 and T'Pol) but Troi's was the worst.

Well try to start my own thread that was on the subject by the mod canceled it and re-direct me here. My favorite is across between ENT, the original movie series, and voyager.

No the ranks were actually pretty easy once you did some research well that’s for me I tend to notice Details pretty well

They unfortunately had the worst dress uniforms.

Seats and tray tables up. We'll be coming in for landing soon.
Really I don’t see it and my mothers a flight attendant. It looks perfectly fine maybe one or two modifications

Don't worry, current Trek is all about reimagining everything. Pike's Enterprise, the TOS uniforms, the Klingons all look totally different. They won't ditch all that and then keep some fugly alternate-future costumes from Next Gen and Voyager.
Well at least they didn’t look like tracksuits. I mean they could’ve tried harder and not make a uniform basically based off of a tracksuit. Don’t give me started on the boots. On the bright side at least they are better than the cage uniforms because they actually show your rank if you are ens-Cmdr and admiral and kor the tie is classy and at least the tile looks better than some Klingon riges

Yes, but I shouldn't have to research a rank insignia to know it. It should be visibly identifiable quickly. That's the point of a rank insignia.

My favorite is the not often seen TNG dress uniform. Literally.
For second favorite, I'll go with Beyond.

Yes but once when you research it you get used to it in the sticks in your brain. At first I didn’t understand them either but after I research it didn’t take very long for it to stick into my brain. At least it isn’t tiny like future ones.

No, but the enlisted rates are not easily identifiable from a distance, due to being the small insignia on wrist of the uniform.

I guess I find the ENT uniforms amusing because they just don’t seem very formal. As others have noted, those uniforms are cool partly because they seem quite practical, much like what a modern astronaut might wear. You'd expect dress uniform to feel a little fancier, but instead it’s this strange upgraded overall. To me, it looks a little like a really bad 70s flight attendant uniform.

IIRC the Admiral's uniform was a proper two-piece suit and looked better. It's also not unprecendented in the RW for service dress (semi-formal uniform) to be the typical Uniform of the Day for flag officers (or even senior officers in certain commands).

NB: This uniform is the most likely inspiration for the Federation Blues worn on Discovery (frankly IMO they could have been more inspired by this uniform for the better).

Uh no those 70’s flight attendants uniforms are wore and when I saw archer in his dress uniform I distinctly remember it was in one piece. Remember what’s on that
mannequin Is probably a coustume version that you would wear to a convention it’s probably not the really coustume made for the actor.
