But given the unprecedented close coordination of these recent tie-in books,
Which still amounts to squat as far as canon is concerned. Take David Mack's Disco novel Desperate Hours for example. David Mack had full access to the show's set and writer's room even to the point that he had limited creative input into the show. Among his contributions, for example, naming the background characters like Detmer. Then season 2 came along and completely steamrolled over the book.

As of 2381 (the year Picard was promoted to Admiral and two years after Nemesis), Worf, Geordie, and Beverly were all still on the Enterprise. Worf had since been promoted to XO (presumably right after Nemesis, but that’s not explicitly confirmed) and after Picard leaves the ship, Worf goes on to become Captain, Geordie leaves for Utopia Planitia Shipyards to help Picard on the relocation project, and Beverly remained on The Enterprise.
Beverly left at the end of Nemesis

I could see that. A lot of surviving Maquis probably switched over to the Fenris Rangers.

Didn’t Chakotay get a letter from the Alpha Quadrant telling him all the Maquis were wiped out by the Dominion except for a handful that went to prison?

He did. The ones who went to prison probably aren't still in prison by 2399. It's almost 30 years later.

There are also a few who probably slipped through the cracks who were unaccounted for.

I miss Guinan in the thread title - just because.....
