Q hasn't been seen on tv since 1994.
If he were to appear, I trust that the writers will make it work...I would be down with it if it were a natural fit into the story and not just being done to be done.
I didn't realize until very recently that Q Junior is played by John de Lancie's actual son, Keegan de Lancie2001 in VOY's "Q2".
That joke is about 50 years oldQ? If he makes spy gadgets for JL, why not?
If he were to appear, I trust that the writers will make it work...
OMG, I said I trust Star Trek writers. I haven't said anything like that in last 20 years!
#PIC THREAD TITLE GENERATOR

print ("Thread title generated.")
It's the only Q I care about. That joke is about 50 years old![]()
Oh man, forgot about Tony Todd! He's what? Around 64? He can totally appear in Picard as any number of characters he has played in Trek over the years.."Kurn"...
Ah but which one? It's the only Q I care about.
both of them for... different reasons (not counting R here, because, well, he was R before he was Q)Ah but which one?![]()
I mean Trek vs Bond Q. In Trek there has been one true Q, in Bond there has been sixboth of them for... different reasons (not counting R here, because, well, he was R before he was Q)
That's right, for all we know Q has been showing up at the vineyard in the last 14 years on regular basis. You know to enjoy the wine, and chit chat about the previous adventures:I'd say he has to to explain why he hasn't shown up in Picard's post Enterprise D escapades. Presuming he doesn't still show up for his yearly attempt to piss Picard off.
