Where on the USS Discovery is Pike’s Ready Room?

Styleset

  1. “New Eden,” new ready room. Anyone think they know where it is on the ship? Anyone wanna post screen shots and begin the blessed speculation?

  2. My first guess:

There are a set of windows usually difficult to see, in a section behind and slightly above the bridge. The new ready room has three windows. The shapes “might” correspond to those on the interior model. Might be more windows which could mean another adjacent room, but so far that’s best guess.

The episode makes it difficult to determine where Pike and Burnham are when they first enter the bridge. But since the turbo lift has a front and a rear door, corridor behind the bridge might be accessed there and there could be a few steps that lead to what could be a half deck. Or the could be a full floor up. I think that ready room’s windows indicate that it’s that weird area I mentioned above, or in the “ball of the center section below the bridge. The only problem with that is when we finally see out of the window we will see the inner circle of the saucer. Which I guess could also be cool.

Love to hear your thoughts, Hive Mind!

In the same place as Lorca's?
I had briefly skimmed over the original post, so I didn't realize this thread was in reference to S2E2. In "Brother," it was literally the same room. I haven't watched "New Eden," so I'm not sure if he moves to a different briefing room. Another reason for me to quit stalling and watch the episode!

Pretty sure it's on the port or starboard side of the bridge. There are windows there.
EDIT:

Only two, so either they're fudging it or maybe it's the deck below?

Why would he need a different ready room? Why not just change the furniture in the current one?

The window in Lorca's ready room works with the standing desk. The minute characters start sitting down, it's too high up to be much use.

In Brother, it was behind & to the left of the "chair". I reckon that makes the middle doors a turbolift in addition to the front-right door.

Unless the table is on a big step-up platform. Then everyone has to be careful not to forget they have to step down when they leave the table, and end up falling flat on their faces. :rommie:

Perhaps it's was designed to be able to lean back in ones chair and look up at the stars like being on Earth?
Lorca hated chairs anyway.
