What's the silliest thing you've done this week?

Also, Hubby and I sang along, at the top of our lungs, to 80s hits in the car, while my nephew did a lot of eye rolling in the back seat.

My Dad used to do that to me and my Sister when we were younger. Sadly, he's still alive and still does it at every opportunity. :klingon:
Don't you realize that parents do that *on purpose*? The more embarrassed you get at something, the more we'll do it!

Indeed. I do realise that. I was going back to when I was 16. He doesn't get the opportunity to do it often these days, but when he can, my god he does. He lives 200 miles away, so he picks his opportunities. I think you'd like him. ;)

The silliest thing I did was throw my 9 year old son into the pool fully clothed. When I picked him up, both he and my wife thought I was joking and would stop just before!
I have, back in the '80's, seen my Dad picked up by an Army Major (British Army, my Dad was in the RAF) and thrown into a pool fully clothed. It was quite funny for me, and he took it quite well. I'm pretty sure it was a joke - I hope so, because the following week I remember tipping said Army bloke's son into a rubbish bin, and he just laughed it off... Edit - the Army Major, not his son, laughed it off.

What does this say about me???

Aww, I miss role playing! Gabriel sounds fun.

I used to play quite unprofessionally with a close knit group of friends. I remember being a dwarf, but must admit to having forgotten the name.
My friend used to play a dwarf, until he got a disease that made him very furry, and he caught on fire, and he somehow got stuck to the ceiling and died. It was a bad day to be a dwarf...
Another friend played a druid, and apparently "speak with burning animals" isn't a druid class feature, but "speak with burrowing animals" is...
My first character; an Elf named Imladris, met his doom when his brains were sucked out by an Illithid. Life sucks. :shifty:

My computer started going a bit wonky and I decided I could very well look into the problem myself!

Ooops.

Our deaths were never nearly as entertaining.

What was fun, though, was that we used to listen to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack while playing. Only we had a pirated version, with a dance routine in between. So while we were in some dark cave, in the middle of danger, skeletons surrounding us, on comes a nifty up-beat song with a flute. Always hilarious.

I was hoping to sleep through the early hours of the morning without some random fucker ringing the doorbell three times, just to make sure. Very silly of me to think I could.

Yeah, that has happened to us as well. Our DM usually has his whole mp3 collection on random. We once actually had MJ's thriller playing while we were being slaughtered by zombies. :vulcan:

My lovely husband built me a desktop a few months back, but I'll be without the laptop for a bit. I was going to send it in for unrelated problems anyway. I broke the touchpad and it's sort of ... missing a left mouse button and has its innards showing underneath.

I have a way with computers. I can just walk into a room and people's computers crash. Seeing as my husband codes for a living ... he hates it.

Seee.. Omnious, I was right :p. Many people have several computers at home :p

I got caught by a store manager bouncing a basketball sized ruber-band ball off the roof of a 5 story major department store. It bounced better than we expected and was still really funny.
