His name is Gabriel Frost. He used to be a 3.5 edition character, but our group wanted to play in the Eberron Campaign Setting again, so I decided to "upgrade" my old character to 4th edition.^ Details, please!
It's been ages since I last roleplayed and I want to remember what it was like.
Gabriel is a half-elf bard (actually 8 levels bard, and 3 levels ranger so I can stand my ground in combat). Bards mostly excel in charisma and are quite keen in gathering intelligence, intimidation, diplomacy, bluffing etc. Back in the day he wanted to become a Master Inquisitor, solve crime and stuff, but he decided to go into adventuring. He used his talent in the dungeoneering business and made his fortune.
On his last adventure though one of his companions, "Flash the pink warforged" (dont ask), was lost in time & space after attempted to vanquish a demon, so Gabriel decided to take it easy for a while, and recently decided to get back in business.
Role playing Gabriel is quite a blast, my own singing qualities are somewhat lacking, but I don't really care, as long as my dice rolls are high enough. And really my companions shouldn't complain when my singing helps them by giving them a +2 on attack and damage rolls!
