What'll they do when your dead?

I currently don't have a will as of yet, but I will have about three different form of wills to be made this year.

I, for one, don't want those choice to be buried nor cremated at certain point. It's too obvious that I choose cryonics over this because I believe that someday in the future, they'll be able to revive me with more advanced technology.

It will be more beautiful than death itself. I hate it that people meets their death when their time here on the earth ended. People should enjoy life more than death itself.

I will laugh my ass off once I come back to this forum and seeing that most of you're buried and D-E-A-D! More like I'm dancing over your graves! ;) :guffaw:

Maybe, if they did it to you while you were still alive, I could see a chance of this working. But what if you've been dead for a while before somebody finds you? Unless you plan on coming back as a zombie, I doubt this plan will work.

Actually..you and guys have so much to learn what's the true death that is. It take you guys long time to be dead, because our red cells inside of our bodies is still alive, it takes really long time for them to shutting down.

But..the brain will be first to die, tho. That's why I'm moving to Arizona in the far future like 2040 or 2035. But it's against the law to be frozen while being alive inside. It's not fun! You have to be legal dead.

Our society today thinks that it's murder.

Odds are, when we die, the only sign of it here will be our prolonged absence. And even that could have many explanations. Perhaps the TrekBBS should start a virtual graveyard for what are (I hope) our very few deceased members.

In real life, if the technology is perfected and affordable, I'll probably go with cryogenic suspension; I do want to live forever, after all.

It might be more practical to have the Rossum Corporation download your consciousness into an unwitting Doll.

But..the brain will be first to die, tho.
Yeah, that was kind of my point.

I also plan to die when I'm really frickin old. Why would I want to be brought back to life as an old man? What would be the point?

No. You won't be bought back to life as an old man. You'll be bought back to life as young man again. Have you ever heard of nanotechnology, I trust?

Life is full of surprise, you know? How can you possible to thinking that you'd be back to life as an old man. That is, you won't be.

I guess I just don't see the appeal. I have this life. I don't need to live another when I'm done. It would essentially be like starting over in (what can I only imagine) is a long, long time from now. That future world will not be MY world, and I think I would feel very out of place.

(Patting your shoulder) I understand. I respect your decision. Not that I'm force you to coming back to see what's new, but you're right on that part, you would feel very out of place for sure.

But I don't want to come back to live here on the earth. I want to coming back to live on Mars. That's how I see. That's my plans to live there on Mars for really long time.

Well, for your sake, I hope your frozen corpse is very patient and that you make a ridiculous amount of money before you die. Because Mars Colony...not happening for a really long time.

Nah, I don't want to be copied. I want to be immortal.

Although I suppose copied is better than nothing. At least there'll be somebody to take care of my books....
