What would you like to see in the 2010 SOTL Calendar?

A DN might be a bit big to be escorting a convoy - but there is a scenario in SFB where a heavily damaged DN (I think it might have been a DNL, as opposed to a regular DN) was being towed to a starbase by a Tug, and escorted by Star Fleet ships, but the force had to contend with an interception by a Klingon force led by a C5 light dreadnought.

In ths case, maybe have the convoy escorted by a DD or two, being attacked by an enemy force, and then have the DN lead a relief force instead?

When I read it, I got the image in my head of one of those incredibly busy paintings of old naval battles where there are a billion things going on, all artificially separated so you can see each narrative instead of just one big jumble.

Greetings & Salutations,

I am pleased to announce that I have been complemented with an invitation to contribute to next year's (2010) calendar.

Thanks to everyones' extraordinary and very welcomed input, my submission will feature a Romulan Warbird in a situation that will have (dare I say it?) never been seen before.

:rommie:

Andrew-

Mr. Probert - Congratulations!! Can't wait to see what you have in mind. the teaser you gave us is...intriguing. :techman:

Any word on who else is involved?

Congratulations, Mr. Probert, I'll be looking forward to your contribution!

Congrats on that coolness dude. :)

"Never been seen," huh? Is this your way of telling us to expect a month or more of empty starfield? :D

I jest, this is wonderful news!!

Now I'm curious... :shifty: *switches on spots* care to elaborate? :shifty: ;)

Sweeeet! Any hope of seeing a "teaser" pic (once it's done, of course) like you've done before?

Yes, I always have fun posting a 'teaser' after each painting is finished.

Sorry, no elaborations.
No, there will definately be no empty starfields in this one.
And...
No, I have no idea on who else is involved but I'm really hoping Clawhammer will also be in it. Having already shared a preliminary with me, I can tell you his next piece (featuring a 'canon' item) will knock your socks off.

Hmmm...

Andrew-

Congrats, Mr. P. I always look forward to seeing your new artwork.

BTW, any chance you'll be getting back to the Ambassador class concept design soon?

Stargazer! Phase II Connie! K't'inga class battlecruiser! Keldon class cruiser! Valdore type warbird! Keep up the good work!

Great news! You are one of the "godfathers" of Trek design, why wouldn't you be included in the list of artists to contribute. ;)

What? You're not gonna do the Enterprise entering the Dyson sphere like we discussed elsewhere?!

;)
