I don't see why. Is there some reason to think he has a keen sense of what makes for good Trek? The episodes he directed were fine, but nothing special, and his production record isn't especially impressive.Well..from what Patrick Stewart said, it sounded like he is very much involved into the process of the shows creation...so I really have full confidence that it will be great.
