What was the last "new" DS9 ep/scene you ever saw?

Not sure. There is still a couple of episodes I haven't seen...maybe three or four. I know True Q was the last "new" TNG episode I had seen tho.

The last DS9 episode I saw was Little Green Men. It was the only episode I've never managed to see on TV. I was finally able to watch it, when I bought the DVD.

I think it was In the Cards. When the DVDs came out I didn't remember season 5, but I had seen all of season 6 and 7. I do remember Call to Arms so In the Cards might have been the last new episode I saw.

I actually say Valiant for the first time today. I had heard a lot of things about it, so it was good to see it for myself.

It kind of reminded me of that movie Taps, where the army cadets take over their school, featuring Timothy Hutton, Sean Penn, Tom Cruise, and George C. Scott. IMHO, the cadet who was made captain of the ship, Watters (sp?), seemed to have gone power-mad and overzealous. Certainly, his job should have been to get all those cadets to safety in friendly territory, not avenge the deaths of the Starfleet officers he served with.

Inexperience and arrogance usually lead to disaster, as this ep demonstrated. In some ways, Watters was also like Gen. Custer, leading his troops into a disastrous confrontation.

Would love to hear others' feelings about this ep.

Me too. DS9 has the honor of having the most complete and final ending.

Two of the best episodes I'm sorry to have missed when they originally aired are "The Magnificent Ferengi" & "The Reckoning".

"I could see that we weren't going to rescue her, so I put her out of her misery."

I just watch Q-Less. That was new to me as well. I think I'm gonna watch Babel next. I've only got about 50 odd episodes to go.

Hmm. Just watched "Sanctuary". While I have (extremely) vague memories of seeing that one before, it was probably a decade or more ago; I had practically zero memory of how the story went, just a vague notion of familiarity. So far, I guess, that's my "last new" episode. There are still some I haven't seen in seasons 6 and 7.

Similar story with "The Collaborator". I know I'd seen this one before, but it had been so long I completely forgot the twist at the end.

Emmissary is the only DS9 I saw in the initial run. Every other episode was unseen by me until I bought the DVD's last fall.

To me it was the season 1 ep "Progress." For some reason I kepth missing this episode until I saw it a few years ago when DS9 was still in syndication.

That is a beautiful finale shot. DS9 really did get a great ending over all ESPECIALLY compared to Voyager and Enterprise.

I saw each and every episode so I guess "What you leave behind".

Same here, but I immediately replayed the long flashback sequence, where Vic is singing in the background. I'm not sure of all the visuals after they pick up the little tin soldier because the combination of song, visuals and emotions makes my eyes go all blurry every time.

The second last episode of season 7. Bought the final ep when it came out on VHS but didn't see most of season 7 until I bought the DVD boxset in 2006.
