Robert Picardo did say a while back that he was contacted to possibly appear in Season 2.The EMH and his mobile emitter. I want to see him return to check on Seven the way he did Admiral Janeway in the original timeline before she went back in time to get Voyager back home quicker.
Just because it's in the comic, doesn't mean it will be in the show. You have to remember these comics are non-canon. Sure they're based off backstory written for the show, but the show isn't beholden to what happens or appears in them. Plus that's the writing, not the art.The next step in Federation starships. We already know the Odyssey class is around. I wonder what else?
Doesn't look like it to me. I mean Picard's motley crew appears to be all humans except for one Romulan in his late teens.
At least the human cast is a bit more diverse than has been the case in the past.

I thought he said in discussions, rather than under contract - those discussions may or may not have ended in a contract, time will tell.Robert Picardo did say a while back that he was contacted to possibly appear in Season 2.

So what would you like to see? What do you want them to show?
I want at least one rendezvous with an unnamed Excelsior class ship and a visit to Norah Satie in the Starfleet Admiral retirement village where she is living as a crazy cat lady.
I'm not sure we could.Meh. She's not great but we could get far worse callbacks to TNG than Sela.
NoStill better than Sela.
The F stuff would be nice but it’s too early, and I’d rather they went with the novel versions of the TzenkethiWhat I would like to see:
- Ties/nods to "All Good Things"
- LaForge as Captain of the Challenger like "Timeless"
- The Enterprise-F with Captain Shon & crew
- STO's take on Tzenkethi and Iconians
