Currently (which I presume is the point of the thread), only Lost - a superlative show that I'll miss when it's over.

I just finished watching the episodes of Fringe that have aired here. For mine, it's an okay show but nothing special. Not for the first time I find myself in the position of not caring for a particular character anywhere near as much as others seem to - I find Walter incredibly annoying, bordering on insufferable. To each their own.

I have the fourth season of Heroes ready to watch. I'm nowhere near as down on the show as some others appear to be but it's disappointing that it hasn't lived up to the (quite exceptional and realistically, probably unsustainable) promise of the first season. Just need to be in the right mood to start watching, I suppose.

V only started here last week (it's been "coming soon" for three or four months ). Far too early to tell if I'll stick with it, but I'll give it a whirl if only to see what Elizabeth Mitchell bailed on Lost for. :D

Flash Forward was so-so; I suppose I'll stick with it but based on what I've seen thus far it won't be with any great enthusiasm.

I'm undecided if I'll bother with new Who when Matt Smith's tenure starts. I don't find the new series anywhere near as marvellous as others seem to (again, to each their own), but given Steven Moffat is responsible for most of the new Who eps I actually like I'll probably end up watching.

I am looking to get into:

*Quark (the 70s series)

*Some classic Doctor Who (episodes I have and have not seen)

*Daybreak (Taye Diggs' show)

You gotta love the series that are nice and short. I may even check out The Prisoner again...!

Youtube is my friend....;)

^^
They should be in stock now, since the complete series was recently re-released. And aren't they available on watch instantly now, too?

Yeah but I don't like watching TV shows on my computer. Maybe I should figure out how to burn the sucker to a DVD (if that's even possible.)

I don't think you'd be able to. There are loads of devices that support instant streaming.

That sounds a whole lot like work. :rommie: Did I mention that I'm lazy?

Neflix sound just send the damn DVDs already. I swear I'm getting fed up with them. I'm paying them good money so why should I have to lift a finger to compensate for their lack of customer service? Mebee it's time to go check out the competition. There must be competition. What they do is very replicable.

I got home last night to find our TV is broken. I pondered what I would be able to watch (legally of course :p) through catch up TV online and I got around to thinking I might not bother with anything.

I'd like a mini-series of some sort, but a whole series to stick with just isn't my thing any more. I might stick with True Blood, but thats about it.

Unless characters are well rounded, I just don't feel like following them any more. I enjoyed Nip/Tuck so much because I liked to see what the characters were up to. I tuned into an episode, no idea what season or what the back story was and just watched because I enjoy seeing Christian et al dealing with what's going on. I can't think of anything else that hits that spot right now.

The only one I watch on tv now is Lost. We don't have cable, so my options are limited. I acquired some SG-U episodes online, but it didn't keep my interest, and we tried watching the first few episodes of V, but it was just so bland.

I myself was shocked that Farscape was so tiresome to finish watching first season Farscape on Netflix instant viewing. It was so tiresome I couldn't bring myself even to start the second season. This reaction was really unexpected. I've wondered if the problem is that I don't much care for computer viewing. I tend to reserve that for borderline stuff, like Fringe (borderline enough I forgot it.)

^I hate watching stuff on the computer. I avoid it whenever possible.

And yeah, the first season is a bit rough. I usually skip around and only watch select episodes from that season. I've got every episode title memorized, so I know which ones to skip and which to watch.

I enjoy Caprica and Human Target, but unfortunately I fell way behind in watching them this past month, so they've fallen into the "will watch on DVD" category, which seems to be the case for a majority of TV shows I watch. In particular Fringe. I missed the last quarter of the first season and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, so I haven't bothered watching the second season. It is definitely on my interest list, but there's such a long queue that when I have time to watch -- I actually end up reading a book instead! :p

I hope to watch V live when it returns, and I will definitely be watching Doctor Who which is my favorite SF show on the air.

In terms of older shows, there's a ton that I watch. Right now I'm working my way through the Diana Rigg era of The Avengers on DVD.

Probably a combination of the annoyance of watching it on the computer (which I hate and try to avoid whenever possible) and the fact that first season is pretty hit or miss.

Dollhouse ended up being a mini-series. Unless you've already tried it and it wasn't to your liking.

Hmm... can't think of any recent sci-fi mini-series.

Charlie Jade? Parallel universe detective getting stuck in our universe? No?

Tin Man? Only 6 hours of viewing material. Steampunk Wizard of Oz.

Eleventh Hour - Patrick Stewart Sci-Fi miniseries.

Can't think of any more. Everyone feel free to make additions. I'm interested in sci-fi mini-series too.

I finished Threshold a couple weeks ago. Had never seen it. I still have Surface sitting on the shelf, and I will eventually make another attempt to watch all of Earth2.

As far as current stuff: The Clone Wars every Friday and waiting for V to crank back up. Thinking about adding Fringe to the line up.

And of course a week never goes by without me rewatching at least one episode of DS9.

If you haven't seen it yet, The Lost Room is a fantastic mini-series.
