What sf/f shows do you watch?

The only one I'm currently watching is "Caprica" which I'm really enjoying. Other than that, there's really no sf/f show on at the moment (that I'm aware of ) that I'm interested in seeing.

Before that (only shows I enjoyed at some point): nuBSG (my all-time favorite TV show), DS9 (my second-favorite TV show), B5, Star Trek, TNG, Space: Above and Beyond.

For some reason I've just lost interest in TV lately. I'm a few episodes behind on both Caprica and 24 now, and those were the only shows I had any intention of following this year to begin with.....

When I said this, I was of course overlooking LOST. Of course I'm still watching that, it's so inevitable I forgot to mention it.

I'm a freak for scifi on TV. I still remember when the Big 3 barely aired any so I have a built-in hunger...that said, this is my DVR listings:

Lost(like I watch this in recorded format-suuuuure

Fringe-just when I think, "Nah, it's turning into the monster of the week" they throw a curve ball that re-hooks me. Can't wait for more!

Survivors-started watching on Bob the Skutter's feedback and am hook, line and sinker over this

SG-U Not sure what they have in mind but it looks like a bundle of potential. There was one ep already that was really good, if not great so I'll keep watching

Heroes-hey, I'm along for the ride...

Caprica-piled up on my DVR, waiting to marathon it...

Primeval -its coming back! Yeah!

Torchwood-COE was pure awesome! Can't wait tv!

Brave&Bold- first ep I saw was the Kamandi one and I own the entire comic series, have been a fan since early 70s, so it got to me-now I watch when I can with my son

God help me, this last one I should keep to myself but...Johnny Test. There, I said it. My 4 yr old loves it and I've seen every ep. The show just cracks me up.

At the moment: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, Survivors and Primeval.

In the past: loads of stuff, but my favourites (i.e. things I continue to watch on DVD) include Space: 1999, Blakes 7, The Prisoner, Star Trek, Sapphire and Steel, UFO, Star Cops.

I've seen almost every episode of Trek produced and own most of it on DVD. Oddly I find TOS the hardest to watch and I still haven't seen half the episodes. The 1960s-era pacing really grates on me when the episodes aren't outstanding. I love the TOS movies though. TNG was the series I grew up with and it's still my favorite, though DS9 is probably better objectively. Taking production values of the time and relative quality into consideration ENT is probably the worst series, but I still find it enjoyable.

I watched all of Babylon 5 recently and I think it's good but not better than Trek. I wasn't as impressed with the writing as a lot of people seem to have been. For the most part it was the typical heroes journey / chosen one stuff that's been done many times before. I think watching it over a decade after it first aired might have hurt my impression of it a bit.

I also watched Farscape recently I think it's great, easily as good as any Trek series, though the first season is pretty unremarkable and it doesn't become consistently excellent until the third season. The journey is well worth getting there though.

I love the X-Files, it might be my favorite series or very nearly so, though it jumps the shark somewhere around Season 6.

I'm also a huge Lost fan, though how I feel about the series as a whole is going to depend on how it ends. I think this is one of those shows that if the ending is bad enough it could undermine the previous seasons. I'd like to think the producers aren't that incompetent, however.

I've never watched Doctor Who or the new BSG (and god, I've been spoiled to death on it on this forum so kind of don't want to watch it now), and I'm just now getting caught up on Fringe which is good but not great at this point, about 1/4th into Season one.

I liked all the early 00s invasion shows and wish at least one of them had stuck around but Invasion was the one with the most potential I think, though it started the slowest.

I've probably forgot a SF/F show here or there but that about covers it I think.

Right now, really, the only ones I go out of my way to watch are LOST and Caprica. My schedule right now doesn't allow for much else, unfortunately. When they come back, I'll watch True Blood and Doctor Who as well.

At some point I'm looking forward to catching up with Fringe and Heroes though.

Currently, as in running now or just went on hiatus?

Lost, to see how big a train wreck it'll be. (Who knows, maybe they'll work a miracle and just be minus a few cars, i.e., plot points.) This show is even more inventive than Farscape.

Sanctuary, because it's so wonderfully goofy. There hasn't been a show so shamelessly determined to entertain since Farscape.

True Blood, because I have very little taste. This show is just shameless. Ryan Kwanten must have the smallest costume collection of any actor in the history of television.

FlashForward, because people's reactions to true "prophecies" is just plain interesting.

V, because I like Joel Gretsch and Elizabeth Mitchell. Nope, no other reason.

In DVD or Netflix, Outer Limits (both versions,) SG-1, Babylon 5, Threshold, Miracles, Alien Nation.

I find Farscape, much as I enjoyed seeing later seasons, just doesn't hold up to repeat viewing.

Most of my viewing happens lately by DVD. Currently I'm getting towards the end of season 1 with Chuck. This show is seven kinds of awesome. Sadly it airs on paytv, so many Australians haven't heard of it.

Currently watching on TV - LOST, V and The Big Bang Theory. I also watch Doctor Who and Torchwood when they are on. With Heroes, kinder lost interest. Planning on catching up and some time in the future. Also been watching Blake's 7 (and many other series)

One day I'll watch Caprica and Legends of the Seeker, when they are available here.

I'll also rank them.

1) Lost
2) Caprica
3) Stargate Universe
4) Fringe

Potentially expendable, but I'll try another few episodes:
5) FlashForward
6) V

Watched it so far, hope it gets cancelled though and it's entirely possible I'll stop watching if it isn't :) :
7) Heroes

Wait, I forgot Doctor Who and Torchwood. I guess I took a break from those two as well. Might return later to them one day.

Interesting. I have easily watched the entire series a dozen times.
I've watched about half a dozen and I still love it.

I've never tried re-watching it because I'm afraid I'll have the same reaction - idiosyncratic insanity comes off much better when it's 100% fresh. But who knows, maybe I should put it to the test. (If Netflix ever manages to get the S1 DVDs in stock, that is.)

^^
They should be in stock now, since the complete series was recently re-released. And aren't they available on watch instantly now, too?

Yeah, all of Farscape is available instantly.

I find Farscape's craziness BETTER the second time around. Re-watching the series is actually what caused Stark to become my favorite character.

1. Supernatural.....Really good show, hope this isnt the last season.
2. Smallville.....Last two seasons were meh, but this season has bounced back.

3.Star Wars:The Clone Wars....awesome show.
