I'll keep that one in mind. The one I've heard a lot of good things about is The Larry Sanders Show.
That one was decent. A lot of it was about the behind the scenes aspect of the talk show. The brilliant thing about Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge was that it never broke the conceit of it being an actual talk show that you were watching as all of the awkwardness unfolded in front of the live audience. (They later did a more traditional single-camera sitcom called I'm Alan Partridge about his life as a radio announcer after his TV show got canceled.)
