I'd say Wrecked was more Gilligan's Island than Lost since there were no really sci-fi elements to it.Actually I just realized we already had funny Lost. It was on TBS called Wrecked. I thought it was pretty good as well. Jason

I'm surprised no one has turned Hitchhiker's Guide into an ongoing series.
They are, on Hulu in the US
Thanks for the info. This is the first I've heard of this.

I would like to see Forbidden Planet updated. First as a mini-series re-telling the original film and then an ongoing series set in that universe.
Perhaps set on a new ship and crew including Robby the Robot, who has used his advanced Krell knowledge to make Earth's starships even faster.
This show could be part Star Trek, part Star Wars, and a dash of Lost In Space thrown in. I would enjoy that.
Efron is currently the same age as Duchvony was when he started the X-Files.I'm surprised they haven't rebooted The X-Files (with a younger "hipper" cast [don't get me wrong, I love The X-Files and David Duchovy and Gillian Anderson, but you know there's a studio exec somewhere chomping at the bit to recast Zac Efron as Agent Mulder and Karen Gillan as Agent Scully])
OK, that's a fair point. That is true but they did do some flashbacks and got their because of a plane crash. Jason
It was really funny, the Australian guy was especially a highlight.I saw an episode or two of that. And I remember laughing a lot.
I never saw Search Party, which is the only one of these shows still going, now on HBO, or Angie Tribeca, but I did see and really enjoy People of Earth. If you want to watch more of them I know it is both on HBO and the TBS app. TBS had a good thing going for awhile their also having Search Party, People of Earth and Angie Tribeca.
