That's such a nothing blanket statement I shouldn't even be responding to but there we go I guess I did. lolWell, like all fanfic, that sounds horrible.

There are actually good fanfiction too.Well, like all fanfic, that sounds horrible.
The Dominion will continue to improve as well. They are big enough to send a large expeditionary force and still carry out a large R&D effort.
No.There are actually good fanfiction too.
Oh yes, there are!
Yes.
That's, like, the absolute worst kind of fan fic.Oh yes, there are!
Especially those when serious errors are corrected, like when a good character has been killed off or destroyed in some way in a series.![]()
Definitely not since those stories shows an interest in prevailing and restoring good characters who have been destroyed for no reason at all, such as Kes, Garak, Gowron, Carey etc. That's, like, the absolute worst kind of fan fic.
No, it's horrible and childish.Definitely not since those stories shows an interest in prevailing and restoring good characters who have been destroyed for no reason at all, such as Kes, Garak, Gowron, Carey etc.
I don't agree that all fanfic is bad. Licensed novels are a form of fanfic, and I find many of them quite good. No, it's horrible and childish.
And, while I have no clue what happened to the Voyager characters, Garak and Gowron most certainly were not "destroyed."
And that's exactly the mentality that leads to bad fan fic. (aka all fan fic.).
Kes, Garak and Gowron were destroyed and I have already come up with solutions how to sade Kes and Gowron. I'm still working on Garak and Carey. No, it's horrible and childish.

No, they weren't. Dear god, get a grip.Garak and Gowron were destroyed
No one cares.and I have already come up with solutions how to sade Kes and Gowron.
It's so, so, so very childish. And doing that is not "horrible and childish".
no, they're not. They're licensed and the people writing them almost always have at least a whiff of professional credibility. I don't care for them myself, but they're a far cry from fan fic.I don't agree that all fanfic is bad. Licensed novels are a form of fanfic, and I find many of them quite good.
Every franchise as big as Star Trek is going to have a fair amount of lousy stuff in it. But even the worst is better than fan fic. (well, at least the vast majority of the time. There are a few exceptions, not because fan fic is good but because even the pros can utterly whiff sometimes.)I do have some issue with writing that directly attacks decisions made by other writers, though.
The authors writing the licensed fiction are playing in the Star Trek sandbox writing stuff that they know will never be considered canonical (on extremely rare occasions aspects of the things they wrote might ultimately be incorporated into the canon).no, they're not. yes, they were and I don't accept it.No, they weren't. Dear god, get a grip.

Definitely not, not, not. It's so, so, so very childish.
That's literally the definition of what makes something professional versus not.Take away the license and it's fanfiction,
