Everything is there what one likes about the Anno series and a few new things thrown in. Still a bit buggy at times ( had to google some to find out it was a bug and not me being dumb and not understanding how something works) but what surprised me most was the campaign that abruptly ends after Act 2 without any resolution to the storyline.

Seems to me the publisher pushed for a release and the developers didn't have time to finish the campaign.

Just bought this one myself because it was selling for so cheap on steam. I heard the story was very "X Files" and that was its strongest selling point. Any improvement deeper into the game or still just meh?

I finished the main story but only because once I start something I must finish it even if it isn't what I thought it was and feel disappointed. It got a little better when Jesse gets her levitating powers, that kind of made things more fun but the same enemy types and such were my biggest let downs. Also the story really feels so contrived.

They could have given them a better name, or more lore. On that most of the lore is only learned via collectables, so reading stuff. How fun? /s Still rate the game at a 5/10 but it did improve a bit for me and become a little more fun.
