What games are you playing currently?

I was playing Biomutant for a while but found it kind of tedious, and the movement is a little wonky when you're riding machines.

I'm playing through Gotham Knights solo. For the under $10 I spent on it I'm enjoying it, although it has the occasional annoying section. It does a decent job of making the four playable characters (Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin) feel different from each other, and gameplay wise its similar enough to the arkham games that I didn't have any problems getting into it.

I also just bought Suicide Squad: KJL because it was $5 for the deluxe edition. i'll get to it eventually, I don't have high expectations but at that price it was worth it.

For non-story based games Marvel Rivals has really caught my attention. I've played hundredes of hours of Overwatch 1/2, and this is hitting that itch but with some fresh twists and cool characters.

^ Yeah I also enjoyed Gotham Knights. Yeah true, it isn't as good as the Arkham games, but I still had fun with it. I basically played it as a Batgirl game and I had a ton of fun with it.

Well I would be searching for a new game or playing an old one but a ginormous portion of games require online and our cable is out completely - no tv, no phone, net. grrrrrr.

Thankfully I do have some games hoarded on drives but this sucks so hard...

I feel like I've been enjoying and appreciating Arkham Asylum much more this time around compared to the first time years ago when it first came out. I love how while the hub world is technically not very large, that they've managed to change it up enough each time you visit each of the buildings during the course of the story, and everything has a nice flow to it.

My newest games for xbox one they are;
UMVC3, MVC Infinite, Injustice Gods among us, along with Toy story 3 and Tron Run/r to name a few; having a blast as well.

Zelda: Twilight Princess on the 'cube. Gone in totally blind, expecting a modest sort of Ocarina of Time retread following the "Nu Celda" nonsense regarding Wind Waker back in the day.

ARE THOSE ALIENS?!? WHY AM I A WAREWOLF?!! I'm hooked.

Also the latest Half-Life 2 Dark Interval update. Holy shit, fans remaking Half-Life 2, harder and 10x more grimdark in Tim Burton's version of City 17. It's so, so good and looks fantastic. I'm going to try the updated Raising the Bar: Redux (which is another group of fans doing the same thing) afterwards but can't see it topping this.

Dragon Age The Veilguard. I just started playing yesterday and so far it’s been a blast. It reminds me of Origins and DA2 more than Inquisition which was my least favorite DA game. The companions aren’t interesting just yet but apparently you meet more interesting ones a little further in.

I haven’t had an attention span for the past few weeks (playing games I had already played and finding myself scrolling my phone or surfing online) but this managed to keep my attention and I’m looking forward to booting it up again.

Been playing Pokemon Scarlet lately, doing some shiny hunting. Found a shiny Chansey. No luck with my shiny Lycanroc hunt tho.

Also played some Super Mario Maker 2 today. People are so creative. Saw some wonderful holiday levels tonight. :)

And I played Stray, Red Dead Redemption, Okami and Spiritfarer a bit yesterday.

All and all, had a nice Christmas day.

LoZ: Echoes of Wisdom.
It was fun, but I felt that it got a little over-complicated with so many echoes (items you replicate) and different ones being needed to get through certain parts of the game.

Finished the Dark Interval demo, it was awesome. Went on to play Raising the Bar: Redux division 2 and it was awesome but in a different way with gameplay far more like retail HL2. They're both doing the same dark, ultra-gritty Half-Life 2 beta thing and it's fascinating seeing how 2 different teams approach the same thing in different ways. If Dark Interval is Tim Burton's Batman, Raising the Bar is Joel Schumacher's.

My husband's mom sent us a Meta VR headset for Christmas, but I'm still working up to using it for more than 15 minutes at a time without getting nauseous. Playing Lorelai and the Laser Eyes on PC currently.

I just recently got a Meta Quest 3. I searched for a VR thread and didn't find one. Would there be enough interest here in a VR thread?
