I have to finish it at some point though ( am near the end of the last act) and the good thing is that it is so much replayable because you can choose different paths that lead to different story choices, especially when you are about to leave Act 1. Some characters have quickly become iconic, as evidenced by the surge of cosplayers playing them and i just love the entire "controversy" when the company making it got "attacked" by other game publishers basically throwing a tantrum that BG3 raised the bar so high (no microtransactions, amazing and expansive story, high technical quality) it shouldn't become the gaming standard.
Can recommend it without reservations.
Just finished a playthrough of Dishonored 2, and I think my fav level is the one second-to-last, ie the Duke's manor with the time-traveling. Very inventive and innovative use of time-travel, making me wish we could have used it more throughout the game. The way the time-travel was designed was brilliant, and the way your actions could affect the way the entire level looks like, depending on what you did with the main target, was nothing short of impressive. I really had fun with this one.
Although, if I had any qualms, it's that the game felt more restrictive, more linear, in giving players the choice in circumventing obstacles. It felt like there were far fewer options available.

OMG yes this was such a good game. I loved that one but my favourite level is The Clockwork Mansion.
Just finished up Detective Pikachu Returns. Really liked it. Good humor in it, good story.

Oh yeah, the Clockwork Mansion was not what you'd call straightforward at all. But I loved that you could get behind the scenes and the game would recognize that. First time I did that, I thought I had broken the game, and the rules! 
I tried Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, via PS Premium.

I honestly didn't think I would like Spider-Man remastered but I ended up really enjoying it and I played it through did most of the challenges and collectibles. It was a hell of a lot of fun.
I think this is become one of my newest favourite games and I plan to play it again one day so I'm not uninstalling it.
Also started Spiderman Miles Morales and that too is a lot of fun.

I remember the Anthlon xp amd cpu had a issue were it could overheat and had no thermal limit protection, so all you had was the temp sensor on the mobo, and even at that all you would get was a temp warning, as the mobo would not shut the system down in said overheating emergency......so if you had a anthlon you never left your desktop unattended, also as the chief kiss some mobo did not even have a fan speed sensor warning back in thd day, so you could have a perfect storm of fan fail, overheating cpu and no mobo temp sensor cut off. Lol

Finished Banishers a few weeks ago then played the Last of Us 1 &2 which were great. I've been trying to find a new game to fill the gap since then (I hate that Last of Us was so short).
Because of the subs, I played Tell Me Why and Life Is Strange for the first time and enjoyed both even though both games kinda suffered a bit from skewing 'better outcomes' to just picking what either Tyler (in Tell Me Why) or Chloe (LiS) wanted instead of a more complex morality system. Even so both were fun enough to pass some time while I searched for another game. So since the sequel to LiS was on the playstation sub and I still hadn't figured out what game to play next, I started it up and gave it a go. Now I'm a good ways in and am really, really struggling with how much I hate the character of Daniel.
I seriously want to beat this child senseless or abandon him to his own devices. I've gone through 3 chapters and it's a brat appeasement game. I kept hoping that Daniel would turn out to be like Hugo in A Plague Tale, who I also found annoying at first (but only for a short while) but where Hugo becomes endearing and the relationship between him and his sister grows Daniel just gets more and more obnoxious. The one opportunity the player has to vent some of this frustration by throwing a snowball at Daniel
he screams and whines as though you hit him with a 95 mph fastball coated in glass.
One could endure the whining and keep pelting him for a little relief but the game's morality/choice system is such that it punishes you for not treating Daniel like a spoiled prince at all times and even if you do treat him like a prince he is still unbearable. Seriously, it's like being forced to babysit Joffrey from GoT. (Daniel's not as apt to do anything downright evil but he's just as bratty in his own way).
All of that is to say I desperately need a new game to play. Like, right. now. I'm in gamer hell so if anyone has suggestions, I'm listening.
