What games are you playing currently?

Today's Wordle pissed me off. I had 4 letters, 3 in the correct spot in the 2nd guess. I had four more attempts then to guess one missing letter. I still got it wrong:brickwall:
 
Horizon Forbidden West
Colourful, bright, fun. Seems to run way smoother then Zero Dawn too but new older Aloy takes a bit of getting used to. They changed her face and head a bit and I don't know if I like her as much as she from the previous game.

My copy (PS5) was meant to arrive today, but appears to have disappeared into the void. :mad:

Looks like I'll be mucking around with Cyberpunk instead until it (presumably) turns up Monday.

Couriers are weird sometimes. I’ve had UPS delivery recently which refuses to be delivered. I have no idea why
 
OK after playing with this for a while...... My thoughts on Forbidden West
8/10 for fun

However I'm really not a huge fan of what they have done to the game interface. I liked what they did in the last game which was perfectly accessible and easy to master. The redo just doesn't grab me, crafting is different here and so is inventory, and the skill tree. While the gameplay is terrific and everything thought it would be I just don't like the new interface and what they have done to that side of things.
 
I finally broke down and started Horizon Zero Dawn and I'm hooked! I'm about seven hours in, I've climbed my first Tallneck and taken out my first bandit camp. On to the Hunter's Lodge!
 
My Collectors Edition arrived and it doesn’t come with a disc. Just a code. What was the point of the steelbook then?

I don't get why they even bothered with the steelbook if there was no disk.

And you will fall in love with Aloy it's such a fun game and emotional once done.
 
I'm also playing Horizon: Forbidden West, and I really like it so far. The crafting stuff is a bit more complicated now than it was in Zero Dawn but I think I'll get used to it at some point. I'm also blown away by how good the game looks and runs on my base PS4. I mean yeah it's a PlayStation exclusive, they had better make it look good on all the PlayStations. But, they managed. It looks great on my base PS4, just like the first game did, so, I'm happy with it. Can't wait to find out what's in store for Aloy this time!

I'm also playing Dying Light 2. This one is a bit more of a mixed bag for now for me. It DOES look fine on my PS4 (it looks much like the first game in a lot of ways, which is fine with me), Techland clearly went out of their way to avoid a Cyberpunk situation, but the game still has so many glitches in general. (On ALL platforms tho, it's not a PS4 specific problem.) The most annoying one is the audio glitch where both audio and subtitles disappear and you have no idea what's being said. I really hope they fix this one first. They really should have waited with the release for maybe anotherthree months or so to iron out the glitches. But other than that I'm VERY much enjoying it, I'm already on my second playthrough and this time I'm making different choices and it feels like as if I'm playing an entirely different game now. Choices REALLY matter in this one, and I love it. So, once Techland fixes all the glitches (and I have confidence that they will, they supported Dying Light with updates and fixes until literally a few days before Dying Light 2 launched) I'm sure I'll love the game even more than I already do.
 
Now for some voting do you like older looking Aloy in Forbidden West? People seem to have a huge issue with the change to her head?

I mean in some angles her head does look a little funny and I can't quite place what they did to make it look that way but overall I'm happy with older Aloy.

Finished the starting area (The Daunt) yesterday and found my first Tallneck...
