What games are you playing currently?

Yeah, the story itself is fine, but it's the gameplay design that is terrible. It's not just that the puzzles are terrible, but their whole design and their approach feel terribly dated, increasing the frustration. I don't even remember how many times I had to restart the glass maze, for instance. There were plenty of moments throughout the game that made me ask myself why I was subjecting myself to it. Feels like the gameplay was designed by a sadist.

Between you and me, after twenty minutes In that glass maze I used a walkthrough

A couple of hours into Death Stranding: Director's Cut on the PS5.

Weird is one way to put it.

Started playing Force of Nature a couple of days ago. It's a crafting rpg and totally chill. There's also a sequel that was recently released, but I grabbed this one on sale for under a dollar recently.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on the PS5.

Fuck. Probably the prettiest game I’ve ever seen. Just gorgeous.

That's next on my gaming to-do's. Played it through once already on the PS5, but that was before the DC upgrade & Iki Island. Can't wait for another go. The artistic direction is phenomenal - the use of colour and lighting w/ HDR is ... well, you can see for yourself.

Just finished Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS5 patch). Took some time getting into it (although killing robots with a bow and arrow was pretty cool from the outset), but once the story opened up - really impressive world building. Great story, awesome gameplay - lived up to the hype. Forbidden West will be on our must play list next year along with GoW: Ragnarok and The Witcher 3 upgrade (whenever that happens). Still have The Frozen Wilds DLC to play.

I was a little underwhelmed by Ghost of Tsushima. Kinda Ass Creed in Japan to me, without the present day bits (thank god). I never used any of the fighting combos. It did look good, but I played it on PS4 not PS5 so it didn't blow me away graphically.

revisiting FFX remastered, this time on Steam. I guess that's 4 time's I've bought it now, about once every five years.

Tried VR for the first time this weekend (PSVR) - woah! I knew it would be immersive, but still - this exceeded my expectations.

Played Astro Bot Rescue Mission which was great fun and Resident Evil 7, which was scary as $&#! I could only play on short bursts. I loved it, but I was nervously peaking around every corner hoping like hell there wasnt a crazed zombie person to meet me. Of course when there was, I was still given a hell of a fright.

I finished Life is Strange: True Colors a few days ago. Now I'm playing Gunk which is free with Game Pass.

I also got an Oculus Quest 2 a couple of weeks ago and I've been playing quite a bit of Beat Saber.
