What games are you playing currently?

There's a lot of LPs that come up on my Facebook feed.

You know, it's fine if you're bad at video games. And it's fine if you stream yourself playing video games. But it's not fine if you are in both groups. If you are bad enough at games that you need to cheat every five seconds not to die through rewinds and save states and such, you are not good enough at games to be broadcasting yourself playing games.

Git gud or git eht. :)

But, but. Cheating is fun. Sometimes

Sure it is. But watching someone rewind the game every five seconds because that's how long it takes them to die is horrible. It's the equivalent of if somebody is playing music, messes up and starts over every five seconds, but still puts their performance on Youtube.

I have to agree here. I don't know what it is with those games but whenever I am in them I find I am having a lot of fun even if it's just doing random stuff in each gameworld and not doing the actual game missions. I still find myself having fun with them.

Never played SR 1 but have done 2, 3, and 4 multiple times. I prefer the craziness of 3 and 4 though.

I've only played two and four and find them more fun than the GTA series (though I own more of that series)

Oh for sure I do agree.

Pity there are no cheats for consoles "cough"

I'm still going through Kingdom hearts 3. Its fun and I actually like the story. I'm currently in the

Pirates of the Carribean World

and they put arguably too much effort into a world that you'll probably just be zooming past.

Next up, while I am occasionally playing Fallout 4, i'm planning to get into Yakuza 0 soon. I've also been planning a Mass Effect Trilogy replay, although since I have the games on the 360 now I'll probably wait and buy some of the DLC before going through with it.

Runescape, as always.
And for fun dusted off Battle For Wesnoth and setting up scenarios on it.

sincerely and with grindyness.

Worlds Most Boring Video Game Player

I just bought The Last Of Us Remastered just to see what the fuss is about this game. Haven't installed it yet though.

Tomb Raider 2013 and that fucking shantytown..... Fuck shanty towns and fuck lots of enemies. ..Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Playing on console . Well at least I got past that horrible parachute sequence. Fuck that noise.

Last of Us Remastered is good but I feel the 60fps took away from the cinematic feel it had from the ps3 version.

I'm being indecisive about what games to play next.

Can somebody pick three numbers for me, one from 1-5, one from 1-8, and one from 1-6? I'll explain after I get the numbers. :)

high framerates (above 30 FPS) can contribute to the Soap Opera Effect, which is why a lot of people subconsciously feel it doesn't look like a movie (i.e. something you might see in a theater) should look like

Recently bought a load of games for live streaming. Mostly retro/arcade stuff like Mutation Nation, Retro City Rampage DX, Organ Trail and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

I didn't know that about frame rates. The 2013 Tomb Raider for instance plays at a constant 60 fps on my desktop machine and feels quite smooth and fluid to me. Same game on my laptop runs at 25 fps and it's very noticeable, but not enough to stop playing.

I don't get that whole movie feeling when playing a game. If it runs smoothly at 50 or higher I'm just happy.

Three, Seven, Two;)

I'm starting Arkham Knight later. (I'd played some of the DLC, but was waiting until I'd finished more of the previous games before starting this properly)

Thanks. I made three lists, one of RPGs I've already played that are easy, one of RPGs on my list to play that are easy, and one of RPGs that are hard/possibly stressful. You have helped me select Star Ocean 3, Ys 8, and one of the NES Dragon Quests.

Finished the story for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on my xbox 360 this morning, 35 out of 60 achievements unlocked!

Still stuff to do in free play, and if I get the DLC.

My gaming queue is ever-expanding, but I'll break it down like this:

CURRENTLY
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Resident Evil 2 Remake
  • Friday the 13th The Game
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online
  • The Witcher III
  • Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Have beaten the story, but I still love to go exploring)
JUST COMPLETED
  • God of War
  • Spider Man
  • Detroit: Become Human
RECENTLY RAGED-QUIT
  • Super Metroid (Maridia made me want to drink bleach)
ANXIOUSLY AWAITING
  • Devil May Cry 5
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online: Shadowbringers
Just as a personal sidenote: Final Fantasy XIV is an MMO and I've been playing with the same online group of friends for twelve years starting with Final Fantasy XI. We're still together after all that time. :)
