What games are you playing currently?

Tales of Monkey Island - Bought it a few years ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it until now.

Trying to play Metal gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. I managed to beat the PS1 version on PS3, but it was so old and dated that it was barely playable. If I didn't already like the series from playing the other games (I played the series mostly in reverse order by accident, going from 4-3-2 then 1), I would have quit.

So, I figured that the Gamecube remake, being from the same console generation as MGS 2 and 3, would play a lot better. Instead, its so much worse. Apparently the GC controller has less buttons then the original playstation controller, so everything is just harder to do. I literally can't get past the first screen after spending about half an hour and lowering the difficulty from normal to easy, and I'm losing my fucking mind. I've beaten this thing before, but this is a giant pain in the ass. Nothing is intuitive with these shit controls. Basically, the controls in this game are almost as bad as the story in MGS V, and thats pretty fucking terrible since I couldn't bring myself to even finish the main story in that pile of shit.

I think I'm just going to turn the game down to very easy and hopefully just watch the story in a nicer way then what the PS1 got.

I can't wait for the Switch's next Pokemon. I want to see the upgrade.

I thought S/M was pretty lame to be honest... and I've played every single game since Gen 1. Yet it was those that just... irked me.
Yea... it's not the best. But I got both for the lols and I like Ultra Sun so far. Hoping to get Ultra Moon when I can.

I use Moon mainly to breed for shinies. Had some good luck with it too! Got a shiny Snorlax and a shiny Feebas. :)

Can't wait for the Switch one either. But it'll be quite sometime before I get a Switch though.

Recently finished Dead Space and Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter. Been playing Dead Space 2 and The Evil Within 2. I like evil within 2 much more than the first.

Played a bit more of the namco Star Trek game before (Just landed on New Vulcan).

Also played a little bit of Spec Ops: The Line.

I'm surprised we seem to be the only 2 playing FC5.
I'm loving it so far.
I was a bit surprised to see there don't appear to be any rideable horses in the game. I've come across dogs, cattle, sheep, and pigs, but no horses even just wandering around. I figured being set in the Montana countryside, and after having had ridable animals in 4 and Primal, we'd have ridable horses in this one. They also show a guy riding a horse through the game's setting in their live action commercial.

Been playing a lot of Rainbow Moon lately on my Vita along with some Final Fantasy X. Also been playing Pokemon Crystal along with some Ultra Sun.

oh I actually played something last Saturday! returned to Torment: Tides of Numenera for a bit, still loving that game to pieces

great writing. and there is a lot of writing.

Played some "Into the Breach".
Very nice if you want a challenging tactical game, without any time pressure.
And setting a Monster on fire and then punching it in the face with one of your Mechs, is pretty satisfying.

I've been playing Far Cry 5 and am absolutely loving it! The Widowmaker is probably my favorite vehicle in a game ever, and some of the missions (esp. Testy Festy) are hilarious.

Wife and I had two days off together for the first time since we had a kid, so we went in hard on her Fallout 4 post-campaign save state.

I think we must have established supply lines for like 20 settlements.

I just finished the main game for Horizon: Zero Dawn, the credits are still rolling as I'm writing this. I'm going take a break and focus on Far Cry 5 for a bit before I play through The Frozen Wilds.
Woah.... I just saw the post-credits scene.
Loved this game.

Just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider and Walking Dead: A New Frontier in quick succession, decided to spend some time finishing off games I started but never finished before going on to anything new, so curently working on Fallout New Vegas.
