What games are you playing currently?

I found a game I have never played. I had bought this back in 2008 but never bothered to install it or play it because it looked too much like The Sims

Playing quite an old one: Sacred Gold. Quite a fun one! There's no way to switch resolutions as 800x600 is baked into the executable, but it's still got some fun gameplay. I've seen comparisons to Diablo, but I don't agree with that. The only similarities are that both are hack-and-slash style RPGs, but I think the Diablos and Torchlights both have hubs and as far as I know, they're not what I would consider open-world. Sacred feels a bit like an Isometric Oblivion in the sense that you've got a wide open world and a horse.

Played some Pokemon Go earlier today and got done playing some Fire Emblem Heroes. Gonna play a bit of Pokemon Silver soon.

I'm still playing Mass Effect Andromeda, because it is the game that will never end. Even after deciding to skip all the busywork "task" missions, and turning the difficulty down to medium just to rush through, this game is taking forever. It doesn't help that load times are pretty bad (especially on Kadara, where you have to load twice to get to the damn open world area). I actually like all the main cast, which is why I'm doing their loyalty missions and stuff like that but this is the first game I wish had put in less. Even DA: Inquisition didn't have this feeling of too much unimportant fluff. Hopefully I'll finish this game sometime before the sun dies a natural death and I can move on to Fallout 4.

I'm also still playing Injustice 2 and Overwatch.

What about the animation? On Prodromos especially, just wait ttill you meet the Majordomo...... That arm swinging just kills me.

I am debating getting Injustice 2 what's it like? Is the first one on PC? Is there a difference between the two?

I loved Injustice 2 on the PS4, but they are pretty story heavy so I would recommend playing the first one if you can. I'm not sure if they're on PC, I'm mainly a console and mobile gamer.

I finished up Mad Max on Tuesday, and I loved it. Next up I'm going to try to finish up AC: Syndicate and then on to AC: Origins. I just downloaded a free trial of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but it's taking forever to download, so I'll probably just play it tomorrow.

I can confirm that Injustice 1 is on the pc (got it via Steam) but the second isn't yet.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed the first one (and both have story mode) and if the second comes out for the pc, I will be getting it.

OK I have the first Injustice on my wishlist on steam.

Does it have a sandbox "do what you want mode?"

Not in the sense I think of as a sandbox mode (like say Saints Row or some of the more open plan RPGs). You just have story mode and a character vs character mode (either multi or single player) across various stages.

It's a one on one Mortal Kombat style fighting game, so there really is not opportunity for a sandbox mode.

yeah I played it for a little over an hour and got to the Aquaman fight.

I really couldn't get into the game and nearly all the fights were won via random button mashing on the keyboard. Not my cup of tea. Refunded this on steam.

Had this been a game on sale or cheaper then A24$ I would have kept it.

Fighting games do take a bit of getting used to, but once you do they can get surprisingly deep when you start trying to perfect the combos and special moves.

I'm generally not that good with gamepads, but for this type of game, it's far easier than keyboarding it.
Not sure of a due date yet, but it does look like Injustice2 is coming to the pc (There was supposed to be an open beta this weekend, but that fell through:( )

Now into Sacred Chapter 2, and the difficulty spikes quite a bit to the point that I don't think it's all that fun anymore. In the first chapter, it put you up against mobs that were maybe about 2 or 3 levels higher, and now it's as much as 5 or more, so at some point I started wondering if I went astray somewhere, but no, I've been following the main quest marker, done all of the sidequests I could up to that point, and everything seems to be sending me to my death, including the sidequests in that area, so, I feel like I've hit a brick wall with this one.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Super Mario Odyssey. After Breath of the Wild, I was having trouble getting into any games out of disappointment that they weren't as fun as Zelda. Luckily, South Park and Mario changed that for me :D

Just beat Mass Effect Andromeda. It was ok. I liked the cast a good deal, at least when it comes to your crew. They were all pretty decent (even if Cora and Liam are a bit bland). They're all better then Vega from ME 3, at least. The story overall was ok. The villains sucked, but besides that it kept my attention. The game really could have used a lot less padding. So many somewhat interesting missions had you hop between multiple planets, and when you factor in the load times (especially for Kadara) it got really irritaiting. I also wish we'd gotten the Quarians in the game and not just as an obvious DLC bait thing at the end that obviously never happened because ME:A didn't do well enough.

Mechanically Andromeda is behind ME 2 and 3 since it simplified combat a bit too much and it has too much filler and little annoyances with the quests, but it is better then ME1, especially with the Nomad being actually ok to drive. Story wise its dead last (outside of ME3's ending, which is the worst thing in the franchise), but still ok. Overall I don't regret playing it, but I won't be returning to this one for a long time, which is ashame since ME2 is probably my favorite game of the last gen and I played it at least 3 times.

Now I've started playing Transformers Devestation (as a buffer game before I start Fallout 4), and its pretty fun. Nothing too complicated, but I get to beat up robots as a robot and its just fun to play. I'm also still playing Overwatch and Pokemon X.
