What games are you playing currently?

I got Fatal Frame II as a PS2 classic on PS3 yesterday, and I started it today. I played about 40 minutes, and I enjoyed it. It was pretty creepy, and while it has the fixed camera angles of Resident Evil it doesn't have tank controls, which is nice. Using the camera to find/attack the ghosts was cool.

I'm also still playing Final Fantasy V (as a PS1 Classic). Its still fun, the job system is cool, and I'm about 80% of the way through the game.

I was playing Injustice: Gods Among Us all afternoon yesterday, thanks to xbox offering free online play this weekend.

Got my 50th daily challenge hero card icon, and my 100th online win as Bane.

This morning, I unlocked the "All Star" achievement after getting 100 stars in the S.T.A.R. Lab mode, since there wasn't anyone online to play.

Uncharted 4

Still not a fan on Naughty Dog's core gameplay overall (especially the combat, still doesn't feel great), but that game truly is an experience console players should not miss. Funnily enough, it makes me retroactively want to (re-)play the Uncharted Collection i.e. the earlier games despite my misgivings, which is quite an accomplishment.

I just got Wind Waker HD for WiiU so that will be taken up my time for the immediate future.

Prior to that I played and beat Super Mario 3D World.

Unfortunately not. It will take me a lot longer to 100 percent the game to unlock that.

On the plus side I unlocked Luigi Bros. That's a fun game.

Still playing Uncharted 4.

That game has single-handedly turned me around on
  • the franchise
  • Naughty Dog as a developer
It's a really outstanding video game.

Been playing Darkstar One, a surprisingly fun space sim. I wasn't expecting much from it, but I'm having a blast with it and finding the story pretty interesting. Some of the design in the second area feels very Klingon.

I might need to give it another go. I stopped playing halfway through, out of utter boredom. The climbing simulator did nothing for me (and I'm a HUGE fan of Uncharted 1-3). The game reminded me more of The Last of Us than Uncharted, which is to say, not that fun.

Mostly Star Trek Online on Xbox One. But before that came out I was really into Quantum Break. QB wasn't super popular, but I think it should have been. I'm kind of an evangelist for that game. It may not have been to everyone's tastes, but it hit all the right notes for me. Loved it.

Also played a lot of Outlast before STO got ported. And once Outlast 2 comes out, STO will take a backseat while I play through that.

I've been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo!

It's really great free update and I don't even have the Amiibo things.

Word. Been playing it more often lately. It's a pretty cool update. Also been playing Pokemon X and Pokemon Shuffle.

I beat Final Fantasy V yesterday. It was a fun game, and I enjoyed the job system. The final boss (Neo-Exdeath) was really annoying though, easily the hardest time I've had with a FF boss (out of the FF I've beaten so far at least, which are FF X-2, IX, VI and V). Still, beating him was extremely satisfying.

After the odd dabble, I've now restarted Fallout 4 and thrown myself into it 4 fully. Yes, I'm using a walkthrough but I did that with Fallout 3 and ended up enjoying the game so much more than I would have (I started Fallout 3 three times and didn't really get much beyond Megaton because I didn't have that much in weapons or stims).

I'm not a huge fan of stumbling around in RPGs to be honest if I don't have a walkthrough and the only ones I've stuck with have been the Fallout games, Dragon Age Origins, Oblivion, Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online. I did recently replay GTA5 with the walkthrough book but otherwise I usually just play through by myself (unless I'm going for 100% completion).

Super Mario 3D World. 309 stars collected, the remainder are going to give me a brain aneurysm. :brickwall:

I gave up on Dark Souls 2, and by extension DS3, I guess. Just not my kind of game.

Mostly Star Trek Online on Xbox One. .

I didn't know they had it on console. I just downloaded it after reading that and will get around to it this weekend. My computer kind of sucks and I tried it once but gave up, glad to see I can play it on my XBOX. Like others I've been playing a lot of Skyrim Special Edition. Forgotten City was a pretty fun mod. Unfortunately mods disable achievements, even if you're not using cheats but just adding content or using the Unofficial Patch which fixes a lot of the games issues.
