The LEGO games definitely hit a rough spot for a while (the first Batman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings were all bland as hell) but they really rebounded over the past few years. Batman 2 and Marvel Super Heroes are both great.
I'm playing Powerstar Golf on the Xbox One, and even though it's a "free" title, I couldn't see myself buying the expansions on it. I mean, the graphics look okay, but the mechanics don't feel right, and quite frankly it looks too cartoony for me.
I got Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for Christmas and have been playing through Drake's Fortune (it looks amazing). I'm trying to decide if I want to play through it again on Crushing, move on to Among Thieves, or play inFamous: Second Son on evil hard mode to get the platinum trophy![]()
Hit 100% on Lego The Lord of the Rings the other night, but still have a couple of achievements left to unlock before I'm completely finished with it.
This is the second time I've played that game all the way through, first time was on the Wii, this time it was on my xbox 360.
I have been playin' the first Bioshock all afternoon...not sure how much more I have left to do with that game, though. There doesn't seem to be a percentage...
I just can't play the Lego games that much. I loved their original Lego Star Wars, but the more games they make, the more tedious they get. I couldn't imagine playing one of them TWICE!
One of the happiest gaming moments with my wife was when she (after roughly 30 minutes of the Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO game that I had bought because two separate friends liked it as a couples co-op game) asked "can we play an actual video game now? this is boring".
(Disclaimer: Not a front against people who like the LEGO games, which, of course all of them are a perfectly valid thing to enjoy.)
