What do you call your SO?

So, my fiancée is away for a few days and I'm missing her a bit, and I thought "what would be a very sweet yet extremely embarrassing topic I could conjure right now thinking about her?"

So I wondered, how do you call your SO? I was one of those guys that back in the days swore they would never use those silly names, nevah evah. And you know? I do. I guess my manly manliness now is measured differently since I was an angsty teenager.

Most of the time, I just call her by her first name (which is short and doesn't need shortening), but I also call her a vast array of expressions, like amore, tesoro, cara, bella, which would be respectively love, honey (lit: treasure), dear, beauty. Sometimes I call her baby (in english), querida (in spanish) or chérie (in french) when I'm being silly or I want to make clear I'm trying to woo her. She appreciate it. ;) I'm not very found of overly complicated expressions, they just sound artificial.

What is your favourite form of address? :D

Jen, Jenerator, Jeneral Mayham, The Squishy One (or variations of that) and Wife Unit.
Do you call her those, or do you use them to refer to her in conversation? Because I have an hard time picturing someone calling out "Would you come here please, Wife Unit?"

Snugglebunny or just "bunny". I slipped around one of my good friends once and called him "bunny" on the phone, and she couldn't believe it. They all think I'm this cynical non-romantic non-cutesy person.

Edit: That's of course when I'm not calling him by his name, or the nickname version of his real name.

Sweetie, Grace, Gracie (I'm looking forward to when she's pregnant so I can quote Spock but I probably shouldn't tell her that).

"My Love" (or sometimes "Most Beloved")

Sadly it is a totally unconscious thing at this point, so when I say it in the middle of an argument it tends to undercut my position. :p

There are others, but what they are (and how they are spelled) would compromise security (plus I don't use them nearly as much as the ones above). :shifty:

Cheryl, Cher-Balls, Jimmy, My Lovely Love (facetiously)... sadly this is not a joke! But my personality is :p

Yes. :guffaw:
Ok, you are weird. Funny, but weird.

 Me too. Also when I'm with other people, like friends or coworkers. I try to refrain from that, but sometimes it's just unconscious. And then I get "geez, get a room, you two!" looks.

Oh, and I forgot about one. Sometimes I call her cip (pronounced like chip). It's a short of cipolla, onion. I started to call her that after watching Shrek, you know, the whole "onions have layers" dialog. No, she didn't kick me in the shins for that. I dunno why, probably she is resigned by now.

And she sometimes calls me iguy, which is so awesome I have no words for it.

Whenever I'm tired I completely lose the ability to remember useful things like names (not that I forget who people are, it's just my brain and mouth refuse to sync up and say the right name) so I call my husband and both of my kids "sweetheart".

my ex was 'luce' 'lulu' 'loo' or just her name, Lucinda. a friend calls his GF 'peaches' because of her 'peachy bum' as he put it. i once called her 'mel' short for 'melons' in reference to another bodypart altogether... (not to her face, i add)

I have the standard "sweetie" "sweetness" "babe" "baby" "honey" "dear" "my love" and of course her first name, but the more or less official nickname I have for her is "sweet pea" Not sure where it came from, I just thought of it one day and it stuck.
