Soups and stews always seem better the next day. I think it's because they've had to time to really steep in the juices.
Roast chicken and stuff.
A mixed assortment of leftovers from the fridge and the freezer. Got to get that stuff out of there before Christmas.
A big piece of strawberry cake...Duncan Hines. It had strawberry icing or was it just pink??? It all tasted like strawberries...I might have a real meal today though.
Medium Pepperoni pizza and Crazy Bread.
Szechuan chicken with rice and egg rolls.
Cheese burgers & homemade potato wedges.
Chicken tortilla soup
I was going to make myself a chicken stir-fry but my son arrived home from work with a chicken burgers from KFC so I had that instead.
Thin pork chops, mixed veggies and stuffing.
And hot coco for dessert.
Beef stew & Broccoli, some kind of apple-raisin dessert.
I had a prime rib-eye steak at my favorite restaurant last night.
Had another Hot N' Ready Pepporoni and crazy bread again last night. Should I start or does someone feel up to starting a What'd You Have For Breakfast This Morning Thread? I thought about it when I thought of this thread but I rarely eat breakfast so I decided not to.
Last night I had home made soup.
Also last night I made some jam tarts, some mince pies, and a christmas cake! I'm just sorry I can't share them with you all, because I have made far too much.
Steak, sauteed onions and garlic mashed potatoes.
The festive overeating has begun.
I skived off work early to have a long and large pub lunch with a friend and then after waving her off, I drove home (only had one drink, promise!) to my dad's place and stuffed myself silly over the course of the evening. I'm just going to snaffle another home-made mince pie from the stash one of his neighbours gave him, before retiring to attempt to digest everything...
I consider today a good training day, warming up for the real challenge tomorrow.
Just a sandwich. Might have something else later.
