What Changes Would You Have For "The Ultimate Computer"?

The Lexington captain had a chair with a headrest...not a bad idea the way the 1701 gets tossed around! Why didn't Kirk take that option or the the seatbelts? Did he go for the undercoating instead? ;)

Oh...and sorry for the double post...I would have liked to have seen (as stated in the TOS-R Return of the Archons thread) either Landru OR the M-5 to be digitally masked with a different identity, instead of looking almost exactly like the Oracle in For The World is Hollow....

Apparently, Commodore Wesley contracted out to a furniture dealer in the Mirror Universe. :D

Did anyone spot all the little differences between the ships? Other than the throne-like chair from the original, the Lexington now had four forward porthole windows (or sensor pad arrays depending on who you ask). I think the main bridge viewscreen was curved around the edges too, which I thought was really cool.

The new, digital versions of Constitution class vessels all seem to portray these as windows - you can see blobs of bright color in there in "In a Mirror, Darkly" and "The Ultimate Computer" alike, signifying doors, furniture or people clad in TOS uniforms.

I wonder if any of the "The Ultimate Computer" ships had the old "The Cage"/"Where No Man" configuration with three small roundels instead of large ones? Now there we could and should argue that the center circle at least is a sensor or auxiliary deflector dish, because it flashes on and off in "Where No Man". Or did they throw a wild party at Six-Forward when Kirk wasn't looking?

In the upcoming Remastered "Court Martial," you will even be able to see Denise Okuda in a red miniskirt uniform in one of the stardrive/engineering section windows in one of the closeups of the Enterprise as she orbits the planet with Starbase 11.
