Actually, you just see her from a distance tumbling end over end slowly...powerless. No close up shots of hull damage or destruction, sadly. Frankly I expected much better out of the Remastered f/x in an episode like this and it sucks Okuda and his people took lazy shortcuts to save time and effort.AC84 said:
What does the Excalibur look like at the end? Broken off nacelles? Black smudges with glowing shades of orange and red bleeding out? Any type of visible battle damage? I'm going to be a little disappointed if you say no, although I'm sure I'll enjoy the actual battle. But I wanted to see them really fuck up the Excalibur. Something that would scare a small child and put a big smile on an older child. Something that would make a typical 20 year old Star Wars fan go "...whoa."
