What are your funniest trek scenes and/or episodes?

Our rules say not to post more than twice in a row, and that should be rare. And yes, especially since you started this thread, continuously bumping it without other people responding could also be considered spamming.

If people are interested they will respond.

Thanks
I was not trying to bump it. I was actually enjoying what i was posting. I thought bumping was like "BUMP" I did not know that you had to wait for someone else to post first but I did wait a whole day for each, and people are still posting in here. Ok, so I will wait for others to post more before I do then. Sorry, for any inconvenience.

The entire episodes "The Trouble with Tribbles," "I Mudd," and "A Piece of the Action."

And I must admit that ever since "Phantasms" first aired, I've always wondered what cellular peptide cake would actually taste like (although I think I'll pass on the mint frosting: I don't like mint anything).
Love '....Tibbles' too.

Most of the ones that have always made me laugh revolve around Data, whether it was him whistling "Pop Goes the Weasel" in the TNG pilot, attempting to understand humor on the Holodeck, asking investigative questions with a semi-stern look like, "Is that what's known as...a poker face?" Brent Spiner's such a jokester in real life, and I find it to be so great that the showrunners allowed him to slowly channel that into the different characters he played.

I think the clips in these threads are data by a landslide, lol. I agree about Brent. He has great comedic timing, and I think he is a genius. He has some really funny scenes with Worf. It's rare but a treat I think and they have great comedic chemistry. And I also think Dorn is a genius.

I met both Michael and Brent at conventions in the Dallas area, several years ago. My experience with Brent was so memorable, because he was very kind but also witty and self-effacing. I actually left my wallet behind at his table, and when I returned to get it, someone had kicked it under his table beside his foot. I bent down, and right then he said "Hey, that's my wallet!" Everyone began laughing, including him and me. I also asked him about working with John Travolta on Phenomenon, since that was my Mom's favorite movie. He had nothing but friendly remarks about John, and that experience in total.

Michael was also very appreciative; we got to speak a little more since hardly anyone was at his table that day. He was pretty quiet, which surprised me at first, but it wasn't like he was being purposely distant or anything. I mentioned his brief appearance in the Santa Clause sequels, and he was pleased to know someone remembered that.

Those sound like really cool experiences. I have to admit I heard about not so good things about fans experiences with Trek actors. Glad yours were positive. Wish I could go to a Con myself.

I haven't been to one in a decade, mainly because the prices have risen so drastically and my changed living situation doesn't leave me with much spare cash. I'd probably have to save for 6 months or better, just to afford that kind of experience again.

The look on Bashirs face after Garak touches him is priceless.

So was the scene in Ops right after, when Bashir ends up saying Garak might be after Federation medical secrets and to be, "Rest assured, they're safe with me, Commander."

Even Sisko couldn't help but smile at that.

There surely was some attraction between Bashir and Garak. ;)
All the fanworks agree too. I think even the actors even ship them and supported the theory and call each other husbands at times, but they did not want to go there. Though, Garak's intro could not be more blatant.

Another funny Garak and Bashir moment..

This really isn't that funny but I have a tendency to laugh at things that aren't that funny, so, Data's line in Outrageous Okona: "I will attempt to be an easy room." Also, that scene in "Thine Own Self" where Riker and Deanna communicate via trombone.

This one. It's easy to see that Kate Mulgrew and John de Lancie are friends, they play off each other so well.

I may be crazy, but I always think of DS9 as lighter and funnier than the other series. It almost feels like it doesn't take itself too seriously. (Quark/Odo is my favorite dynamic.)

This scene wins. :guffaw:
It's downright movie-worthy. No scene in THE VOYAGE HOME comes close.

I happened to turn this episode on for the first time, as the Doctor began to sing. My not-so-great workday was instantly made moot. When Picardo appeared at a Shore Leave convention I personally thanked him for changing one day in my life, a debt I could never repay.
