Spring training: Pirates at Yankees
Bar Rescue 'Thugs with Mugs', second episode of the fourth season, via Paramount+.
Started a seven day trial for Apple TV+ this morning. Watching Tom Hanks in Greyhound now, since covid killed its theater release.
Over the last couple months I've started watching the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original Mystery Movies. So far I've seen some of the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Ruby Herring Mysteries, Emma Fielding Mysteries, Fixer Upper Mysteries, Mystery Woman, and Murder She Baked.
On the Rocks with Bill Murray and Rashida Jones via Apple TV+.
Watching some Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction.
I actually enjoyed that movie quite a bit. Was very well made and had some good acting and good action.
I'd recommend you binge For All Mankind while you have the free trial. It's very well made, smartly written and features some pretty decent VFX for a TV budget. Great cast.
I started Season 6 of Friends over the weekend and I finished the 90s part of the series last night. I'm not sure what the criticisms of the series are these days, but I can see why it's so popular. It really is a great, fun series, even though I still like Parks and Rec and The Good Place over it.
Hill street blues season 1 episode 1(the pilot) - great 80's TV!
(going to do an episode a day)
I don't remember the show well, but I really liked that opening music. I remember the band Big Audio Dynamite used it in one of their songs, in the early 90's.
At school we used to chant the music after the night watching an episode.
Spring training: Astros at Mets
Good CGI, for sure. And quite technical. Not Tom Hanks' best movie, but I still liked it.
Watched On the Rocks the other day on Apple TV+. Didn't even turn the tv on yesterday, since I had a twelve hour shift.
Watching Tacoma FD 'The C-Team', sixth episode of the second season, via HBO Max this morning.
Doing a rewatch of Pacific Rim.
Wandavision. Nearly finished it. I think it's a very nice show.
I'm watching all the BLAKE'S 7s backwards.
Tacoma FD 'Firefighter's Ball, Part 1', tenth episode of the second season, via HBO Max.
Zack Snyder's Justice League via HBO Max.
I don't like the 4x3 aspect ratio (basically square instead of a rectangle) but Bruce Wayne's opening scene being his visit to find Aquaman makes more sense than the Joss Whedon version, since he was clean shaven in that one, but has the beard in the village.
For All Manking, then Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Saving Justice League for Sunday.
