Now that I'm finished with my Thickburger and large fries I'm scarfing down some Cheetos so I can throw the empty bag away.

I know. My life's about as exciting as a woolen sock.
At least you're making homemade hummus, so there's a chance it'll be good. 90% of the store-bought hummus I've ever eaten has been pretty awful.

I will post a picture when it is done. Not that hummus as a dish wins any beauty contests but hey personality is the important thing.
Okay it's done, here it is. As you can see it is bursting with flavor. This isn't just your generic hummus. I'd do this hummus any day, especially if the pita was hot
It would look even greater in a tinier bowl..

^ That looks yummy. Gonna find myself a recipe and make some, as it's a great snack.
Just finished dinner. Had chicken & Cashew masala over the top of steamed rice and steamed beans. So nice. Gonna have to buy more of these jars.

Almost every bowl of homemade hummus I've ever tasted is palatable...even great. I don't know where the store-bought brands go so horribly awry, but they're not very good to say the least. Hummus that's on markdown in the deli aisle is even worse.

Chick peas, lemon, olive oil, garlic. Blend it. Simplest thing in the world. I like lots of lemon myself. And yeah the store bought stuff is weird and icky.
