Another VERY exciting pic of teacake's food.. this time it's chips and mustard.

Also having a very nice glass of cab sav with this delicacy.

Nice to know I'm not alone in my preference for mustard on fries. Ketchup is acceptable, but mustard is deliciouser :)

Streak and cheese sub with spicy ranch mayo, lettuce, tomato...drinking fruit punch G series Gatorade.

Cheesburger sub with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo, french fries, and onion rings, with a Cherry Pepsi.

Yeah, I know, not healthy at all. But I felt like having something junky for lunch today. :lol:

I eat fries with honey mustard! Right now I'm having a Little Caesar's Hot and Ready Pepperoni Pizza with Coke.

I put good old american yellow mustard from Costco on my chips (we have one Costco here now, it is super exciting).

Eating green olive dip on stale sourdough.

Unsalted potato chips and cottage cheese with chives. (One of my favorite combinations.) Diet Pepsi.

Cottage cheese with chives is fantastic (I'd probably put a spoonful of it on a Tuc though and add freshly ground pepper of course -but that's just me.)

However, we locally produce a 'fresh cheese' (don't know how else to describe it) that is lightly smoked: rygeost which is a lot less 'buttery' than cottage-cheese and brilliant with chives (and absolutely perfect with chives and radishes!) (salt & pepper to taste) which usually would be my choice to pick up when I'm standing at the fresh dairy-counter at the supermarket.

Anyways, I'm now nibbling on some Tuc Original's while drinking a bottle of champagne (I didn't capitalize the name, as it actually isn't from there but made across the border; in Germany :eek: )

with mashed potatoes and asparagus. This sauce is addictive - flank steak in tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, chopped onions, red wine vinegar, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce :drool:

A Jazz apple.

It is the BEST APPLE I have ever eaten. I bought 15.00 worth of them they were so good.

Glad you enjoyed them. Would you Be-bop-ping along while eating one?

If people from the South eat those, would that be Dixieland Jazz apples?

Or if Herbie Hancock eats one, would he mash two of them together and call them...Fusion Jazz apples?

I looked Remoulade up in google images..is it at all like what the British call salad cream? (which is disgusting imho). I do like chips with mayo, the US or Canadian kind as Aus mayo is closer to salad cream and tastes like food acid.

I am looking fwd to FINALLY trying poutine on chips. Apprently there is a place in the city, Lord of the Fries, which does it. I hear it is not particularly good but it will have to do. I first heard about poutine over 10 years ago and I've been curious about it ever since.

hmm.. looking at the Lord of the Fries menu I suspect I'm gong to be disappointed as poutine is supposed to have cheese curd and gravy and this says "shredded cheese". If it actually looks like nothing but standard gravy and shredded cheese I will have to pass :(

Don't know what 'Salad Cream' is, but a simple way to explain what remoulade is, is comparing it to finely chopped pickles -in a neutral mayonnaise.
