I'm not eating right now, but I am making some beef stew. Beef, potatoes, carrots, crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, red wine, thyme, all simmering together nicely. I hope it tastes as good as it smells.

And I'm drinking a chinotto-flavoured soft drink called Brio, which is apparently only available here in Canada.

Chicken thighs baked in wine and olive oil with sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, mushrooms and olives, alongside sauteed spinach and a glass of chardonnay.

As dinner time approaches, I have switched from Brio to a cheap domestic red--Inniskillin Pinot Noir 2009. Because I'm such a connossieur.
