And for being the first person I know of to raise the scenario that I was thinking of when I wrote the scene, I give you . . . a cookie.Anyway, I know Jamin said in the vision that they would need allies to defeat the Ascendants. I was thinking perhaps that would be ... an Odo-controlled Dominion.![]()

By the way, to all who just skipped to this page without reading the previous pages.....go to page 11....the posts in there are worthy of being a sticky.

Err, people with different display settings (different number of posts per page) get different page numbering. For me, the current page is only 10.

As for why . . . that'll be in Fearful Symmetry. Maybe.

When I saw that we were heading for a Cardassian prison, I told myself: “Well, I guess this means we’ll be seeing Tom Riker, Sito Jaxa, or both.”
Dense as I am, it actually took me a while to figure out that some of the regulars were participating in the vision.
Help? Also, was the name of the fortress in reference to something else? Couldn’t unscramble that one either…
I was actually surprised, given the hints we’ve been seeing in the fiction about a connection between the Prophets, Bajor and the Hebitian culture on Cardassia, that there would no Cardassians in Kira’s wormhole visions when we saw the different paths.
Anyway, I know Jamin said in the vision that they would need allies to defeat the Ascendants. I was thinking perhaps that would be the Cardassians (though they are a rather third-rate power this soon after the war), or perhaps an Odo-controlled Dominion.
The commando raid scene on Harkoum just didn’t do it for me. Sorry; but I found myself glazing over paragraphs as Vaughn’s team was moving in. Perhaps I just don’t have a good appreciate of the tactics therein, but I found I didn’t really care for what was happening because I didn’t know who these characters were. There were several of them, but other than a few mentions of species, gender and specialization, nothing much to distinguish one from the other.
Illiana Ghemor. Wow, what an obscure reference. Had to look her up. Sure addresses the question of why she looked like Kira, but what made you guys think of her in the first place?

Hmm. I'm not recalling the Hebitian Connection. Where was it?

I don't even remember what the episode said happened to her. I thought she was dead.

In one of the Mission: Gamma books (This Gray Spirit?) a jevonite statue was found at B'Hala. It was given to Kasidy, who gave it to Yevir, who had it in the room when he met with Mika and her half-Cardassian child.
i just watched the episode, Second Skin, on Tuesday, and in the end Iliana's father asked Kira what she thought happened to her, and Kira said she didn't know. So, yeah they left it very open ended, and I am now very glad they did. :thumbsup:mug said:

IIRC, they left it very open-ended.

I, OTOH, write with Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson, Tom Waits, and Robbie Robertson on shuffle.Sweet! It's always nice to hear that other writers write with soundtracks on in the background.![]()
