No, everyone would have immediately assumed that he was a brainwashed town resident, which of course he was. Evan Peters is the only one who makes the audience second guess themselves, like Wanda.

Okay, I see what you mean, but I still think it's a lame cheat. I would have been happy if Agatha had merely said "I hexed some random guy to look and sound like your brother, but for some reason, he came out looking like someone else entirely. Whatever, he worked well enough anyway."

That would have acknowledged the X-CU without having to get entangled in it.

The last episode was titled "The Series Finale" not "The Season Finale." It's easy to miss if you're not used to looking for it, but it's pretty definitive..

Ah, yes didn't notice that. But not sure if it's definitive. The opening of the film Fargo said it was a true story, but it wasn't. Creative people get artistic license. I wouldn't be surprised to see another season, or some sort of continuation.

Ah, yes didn't notice that. But not sure if it's definitive. The opening of the film Fargo said it was a true story, but it wasn't. Creative people get artistic license. I wouldn't be surprised to see another season, or some sort of continuation.

IIRC, the plan has always been that Wanda's story would continue in the next Dr. Strange movie, which likely fueled the rumors that Strange himself would appear in the show. After that, who knows. Maybe at some point down the road there will be a sequel series on Disney+ or maybe Wanda will get her own movie. At the very least, I think we can confidently say WandaVision won't have a second season.

Well, if thats the case let's hope that nobody kills and butchers Agatha, thereby creating a bunch of people with random powers when they eat her (seriously, for those who don't know in the comics several of the Skrull cows were butchered and their tainted meat being eaten became a thing, it was pretty gruesome in retrospect especially since Ultra Genius Reed Richards had never considered the possibility of the skrull cows getting slaughtered and eaten).

IGN has posted a new interview with Jac Shaeffer and Matt Shakman that addresses a lot of the stuff people have been bringing up on here.

This is exactly what they were going for with Peters.
Matt Shakman said that they were really surprised how people read more into the line about Monica's aerospace engineer. They never intended for anybody to think that was a hint they were going introduce anybody other than Major Goodner.
When asked about Jimmy Woo's witness, Shaman said to "stay tuned". So it sounds like that is something that will be addressed somewhere else.
Jac Shaeffer also addresses the lack of serious consequences for Wanda. That's a bit longer and more complicated so it's best to just read it in the article itself.

I remember that. Wasn't it during John Byrne's run on FF with one of the Annuals? All the townspeople had Skrull-like powers from eating the tainted meat and drinking the tainted milk. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm surprised that the problem was only isolated to that one town in upstate New York. Didn't the ending hint that the infected meat/milk was being given to other animals, thus spreading the Skrull DNA?

The Marvel Studios Assembled episode was informative and enlightening, but for whatever reason, the one aspect of the show they didn't go over was the "Agatha All Along" song, despite going into detail for all the other theme songs.

I still think there doesn't need to be a further punishment for Wanda. She owned up to the horrible thing she did in the finale, she accepted that the people she did it to would never forgive her (and not in a bitter way, but she clearly saw it form their point of view and accepted it) and she went to self-isolate in the mountains, presumably so that she wouldn't hurt or victimize anybody else. She's studying up on what she is and how to control her powers so that there won't be a repeat of the Westview incident.

Incarcerating her would not only have likely been impossible, considering her power level, but it might have lead to her creating a second hex.

The Marvel Studios Assembled episode was informative and enlightening, but for whatever reason, the one aspect of the show they didn't go over was the "Agatha All Along" song, despite going into detail for all the other theme songs.

Honestly, I didn't even notice that they didn't cover that song because I was so enthralled by the documentary and how extensive it was about the entire production of the show. We did get an extended clip of Kathryn Hahn going all out with that closing cackle of hers, which was just marvelous.

I love how they were so committed with the live studio audience for a 50s sitcom that they brought in old-school wooden folding chairs accompanied with seat cushions for the audience. Plus the stage crew was all dressed up in 50s style attire so everyone would feel the mood of the era was a nice touch.

It was especially nice to everyone involved with the production, not just the actors (just about everyone except Josh Stamberg) but also everyone who worked behind the scenes, from the writers and director to the special effects team and especially Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

The only thing I didn't like was that it was only an hour long! I wanted more!

A whole bunch of the Scarlet Witch and Vision related comics have been selling out and are going back for new printings.
It's nice to see the show actually bringing some attention to the comics.

I don’t see much reason to do another Wandavision series though. If they did another TV series focused on Wanda, it wouldn’t be Wandavision cause they probably wouldn’t reuse the TV show gimmick.

You're kidding me, right?

John Byrne actually followed up from the FF Skrull story from the 1960s where Reed Richards had some scroll transform themselves into cows and then erase their memories. So the milk and the beef from these cows (some of whom I assume were slaughtered) gave the humans who ate them skrull shapeshifting powers?

boy I wish I had some of the drugs John Byrne must have been on when he came up with that. Even as an FF fan (and I think I stopped reading around the time John Byrne started his run but a few of my friends who were still reading were basically complaining that John Byrne had changed the comic from the Fantastic Four to nothing but Doctor Doom Issue after issue for the majority of Byrne's run on the book.

I don’t see much reason to do another Wandavision series though. If they did another TV series focused on Wanda, it wouldn’t be Wandavision cause they probably wouldn’t reuse the TV show gimmick.

Moving right into Dr. Strange 2, it seems like Wanda's story is going to continue and evolve. We'll eventually see Vision evolving in his new incarnation. There is no reason to go back to Westview, that story is done.

The possible exception is Agatha, and I'd be surprised if we don't see her again, but Wanda by far out-powers her, is studying on her own, will learn from Dr. Strange, and experience major adventures without needing Westview, Agatha, or television sitcoms involved. I can't imagine any movie or series focusing on Wanda and Vision being a furtherance of the WandaVision storyline.
