Jadis is dirtied and roughed up a bit (she does, after all, live in an apocalypse) but the woman who plays her, Polyanna MacIntosh, is a gorgeous woman. So, yeah, I'll take nude Jadis "lying with me."
Pollyanna looks like one of the love children of Mick Jagger. That's not a good thing, much like her semi-nude character.
I thought this was a good episode with some interesting developments, interested in the new character and liked seeing the return of "The Three Questions." Though Carl going along with him to put down walkers not currently a threat was sort of dumb considering they should only put the walkers down when they're an actual problem otherwise they're just taking risks and, as seen here, taking on the walkers drew in a small herd.
Agreed. I do like that bit of continuity with the "3 questions", and yeah, the walker business was filler.
I've no idea what's going through Rosita and Michonne's heads.
Showrunners making them stupid, so they eventually end up in a conflict that will lead to some sort of disaster in the final two episodes of 8A.
Daryl has a lot on his mind to be pissed about, understandably, but he's going off a deep-end here. And, yeah, Tara's switch from the snarky girl with all of the jokes to being this intense person ready to kill is strange. I get she loved Denise but this reaction seems pretty drastic.
Daryl has been reduced to a dumbass. Even after the Governor, Terminus, and losing Beth to the evil cop, he was still thinking in a positive manner by telling Rick they need to bring people into the ASZ. Now, he's just violent. The completely manufactured Denise business was
the motivation for Daryl to hunt Dwight/get himself and others captured by the Saviors, etc. That's it. Never bought that at all, as the on-screen relationship with Denise was never established well enough for Daryl to be so revenge-minded about someone he barely knew. As mentioned before, this also applies to Tara; being eager to kill because of Denise is her only function on the series at this point, and who cared about Tara and Denise, when .
Great, another kid hitching his star to Carol's wagon. This will end well.
Well, we can hope the series will deliberately allow fans to believe that, only for Henry to be a true survivor of the war.
And I was thinking when they went outside and saw the truck driving off, "Gee, be great to have an RPG right now, wouldn't it?!"
I believe the RPG was already loaded, and was not with additional rockets.
It will be interesting to see what develops with The Scavengers and how deep the schisms grow between the groups and friendships as we cracks are forming already.
Many a fan see the schism serving two purposes: one, to lead to so much internal conflict, that it sets the stage for a good amount of series housecleaning (deaths), and two, the survivors will be forced to reaffirm old relationships thanks to so few of the big names making it through the war. The series might flow better with a smaller group of name players.
What did Carl say to warrant that?
Although I agree with the main premise - the second Negan stuck his head out, the fresh snipers should have popped him.
That should have been the case when Sasha and Rosita were on their failed assassination mission. They let Eugene being in the way stop them from taking Negan out, and yeah, they did not want to kill Eugene, but they could see he was not a prisoner, and clearly working for Negan, so....
But, in there, Rick re-encounters Morgan not far from where he first met him 9-10 months after he left his old house, the time it took for Lori to get pregnant, gestate, deliver, and for Judith to grow a little, so this means it's probably inside of a year between leaving Morgan in the old town to when they re-meet an Alexandria, where Morgan was following them.
This is a LOT of movement for Morgan to make given the situation they're all in and whether or not we want to allow Morgan to use a vehicle (and even then he'd have to be able to collect fuel for it.) To get from Georgia, to somewhere in So. Cal/Mexico (or wherever FTWD is now) then back to the Georgia/Eastern coast area to follow The Group along their path to Alexandria (including seeing the note at the church and finding the map to Alexandria) inside of a year is a lot to happen. And gets even tougher when we put in Morgan's encoutner with Eastman which is what brought Morgan back from his insanity after losing Dwayne and he had to "clear."
I just don't see how it could have happened and will be interested to see how it is done short of FTWD taking a 2-3 year time-jump until inline with TWD and for Morgan to travel to Alexandria to wherever FTWD would be taking place.
It does not make sense at all. Why would Morgan travel (we assume by himself) to the southwest, when the conditions of making it through densely populated states like (for example) Oklahoma and Texas would increase the risk of death by walkers and living predators 1000%. He had not met Eastman yet, so Morgan was very much a regular guy with no great survival skills, and full knowledge of how far the ZA had spread.
Eh, it just seems like a cheap ploy to get FTWD off of life support, and add at least one likable character to an episode or two, since just about every FTWD character is a favorite to no one. ...and I'm betting Morgan will make some reference to S1 Rick, which will prompt some FTWD character to say more than they should know about Grimes, or the situation on that side of the country.
