I see it now. Trouble is, my story isn't set in the Delta Quadrant, just the Alpha Quadrant within the first 3 months back. The whole of (pre Nemesis) Season 8 is supposed to tie up the loose story threads never resolved in Voyager, character payoffs we didn't get from the last VOY episode and explain how Janeway became an Admiral.
Season 9 (still set before Nemesis) might go into the politics and plant seeds of setting up the politics of what happens leading up to Nemesis. It was Janeway that sent Picard on his way after all.
Then Season 10 they go back to the Delta Quadrant with the Slipstream drive, working!
I haven’t seen this whole thread, but there was a Birmingham TV station that managed to get Robert Picard in a replica uniform to do an commercial for Voyager.
At the end, he was flying the Voyager toy with motorized nacelles and making swooping noises. I’m thinking Kyle Clark

Actually, Janeway and Harry are alike in a lot of ways. Both smart, capable, firm believers in Starfleet principles, and both with overdeveloped sense of responsibility, the kind of thing that causes them to delete whole timelines. I'm still solidly pro-J/C, though.

I've always felt Voyager was the most sitcom-like of Trek shows (even if Braga tried to darken it up when taking over) and I've sometime thought while watching a lesser episode, "This would be enhanced by adding a 1990s-style sitcom laugh track." If anyone would like to take my idea and make a Youtube project out of it, you have my full support and blessing.
