Damn RC2 to hell.

Anyhoo, Jackill has a page of diagrams on it in one of his books.

Well, I would have just edited the old post.. but..
Here's a tweak to the ship, and spelled right this time.

I haven't yet done the Sydney, but it IS one that I should be getting to soon. Hate the Registry, though, the NCC-2010 should be an Excelsior! :P

I'm looking forward to the Sydney.
I think 2010 is a good registry, refit Connie tech becomming available in those days beccause its not top notch secret tech anymore so 2010 would be about right for a then new type of large freighter/passenger ship.

Forbin, I bet you could make one fom scratch...

I wish I could make models, physical or 3D or drawings.

Here's a Couer De Leon idea:

Use the same nacelles that the Constellation-class (Picard's stargazer) uses.

And make the "roll bar" torpedo bay housings bigger, to each house a mini-TMP-style navi-deflector.

Not just no, but HELL no!

All the engines are in the tail-end. There'd be nothing to power it. Emergency procedures would be to dump the intermix chamber or jettison the nacelles. Then it's off to the lifeboats with ya!

Heh, it could seperate as a giant lifeboat if the forward hatches are released (where the saucer meets the teardrop), but it's got no main powerplant.. it would be a lifeboat ONLY and on batteries at that.

Hummm, that could be interesting...

And why the hell would you do that. It isn't needed. It already has a nav defelector.

The Constellation nacelles are barely any different, except for having uglier tail ends. And if you rotate the engine mounts to the opposing "T" shapes, then your aft torpedo launchers will blow them off.

Well, this ain't too different in layout than the Lion, minus the roll bars:

Thats indeed a very odd ship, but it at least has somesort of counterweight for the nacelle.
