Ticonderoga would really be interesting with four nacelles, like the Constellation-class (Picard's Stargazer).

Do any other designs show the pylons connecting to the nacelles at the rear like that?

Eh, like I said I prefer the more official design, as verified by Mike Okuda. The DC version is just a movie-era ship with the nacelles in a weird place.
