That was also a silly theory IMO. They wouldn't have gone all the trouble of designing this new one just to replace it.
USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

Pike's ready room or briefing room on the Enterprise had wall art or graphics of the NCC-1701. It would have been so cool to see wall art of other ships named Enterprise including Archer's NX-01.
We're always told on TOS how much Kirk loved the Enterprise. Maybe the prequel twist here is he fell in love with Pike's ship, but ended up with something else?

It looks very grand but waaay to busy with the lighting.
That is probably the one thing I didn't care for with the JJ-Trek bridge.
So much lighting ya can't see the find details.
Not crazy about the shiny reflection in the floor either.

You've caught the first error of the new episode! Light sensitive Mirror Georgiou should have been screaming "Argh, this is too bright!"
Mirror Lorca was recoiling in darker rooms.
Of all of them, I’d say it’s closest to the TUC bridge.
She a tough old broad, she's been ignoring it for long enough now that her eyes have probably adjusted.
Either that or she got some contacts that cut the amount of light coming in.

Maybe she got new cloned eyes like Lorca kept turning down. No reason why she'd avoid it, Lorca was only playing coy because a close examination would show he'd been born that way and it wasn't an injury, after all.

When Georgiou steps on to the bridge of the Enterprise, she says "It's good to get a little distance from something you love." Not sure if it was a double-entendre for the new bridge. But in that department, I'm SOLD!
They even found a way to off-set the turbolift! The bridge set is so incredible. I love it! I can totally believe that's the TOS bridge, as it was meant to be seen. I want moaaaarrrrr!!!!!!

The bridge looks fantastic. I like it. 
What I like about this Enterprise is that it feels like it's an update version. I gotta admit as much as I love the JJPrise, This one is definitely growing on me.
