USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

I don't think so. We've see the Season 1 Enterprise in several videos and even the recently released Season 2 poster.

This is either a mistake on the part of the graphics department, or it's from later on in the season.

Maybe the distress call was issued by the Enterprise because their newly-installed angled pylons are lemons, and they need assistance re-installing the straight ones....

i'm just saying, unless you can make something like this make sense to the in-universe science of the show...

i'd try not to take numbers on screens seriously.

Those numbers are my password to TrekBBS :D

Yet she impressively flew up to the Disco at the end of S1
That’s why I think it’s from later in the season. The Enterprise is damaged, otherwise why does Pike carjack Discovery. While he’s in command of Discovery The Big E is being repaired. Number 1 shows up later in the season to save everyone. Just an idea. They could change the display before it airs. Who knows.

Hm wait, the guy Sonqua Martin-Green is speaking with infront of the screen appears to be (it's hard to tell) Director Olatunde Osunsanmi, who isn't the director of Episode 1, that's Alex Kurtzman.

So it could be from a later episode in the season.

But the same panel does show up in a scene that Kurtzman is directing.

Why do they even need that on the screen though?

You'd think a proper systems analysis would show one wireframe with colour highlighted information needed, not a cadet level "this is a pretty spaceship" remedial readout.

Also; crew of 430, 429 onboard...really? Kirk came back from landing parties half a dozen down and shrugged it off, thats drama?

Or is that the Spock's not on the ship moment.

The slit in the pylons is there. So it's not like they re-used some old pic. So it's definitely meant to be Discoprise.
And I was just starting to like the slanted pylons (j/k, no, no I wasn't :D)
