It's in Season 3.

Def lights. They actually talked about this recently right in that magazine? That they wanted the lights lit like they were on WW2 ships or something?
they probably don't need the Shenzou bridge set any longer, so they can use that space to build a new set.Yeah, I hope they're lights, seems likely. Reusing those same slot windows for everything is getting old. Since they already have the current sets, I hope they have some money to throw at a new generic bridge to be used for the Enterprise and any other SF vessel. Then they won't have to sneakily reuse the Discovery bridge, like with the Gagarin. Any new sets for any of the ships would be nice.
You know it also looks a lot like this top NX-01 Enterprise concept by Doug Drexler

The Kelvin bridge was a pretty good update of the TOS bridge. Something like that brightened up with some red paint, smoothed out a bit would suit me just fine.

I would love to see this used as the bridge of a hero ship. It was hands-down my favorite set design in the new Trek movies.
Mine too. I would have loved a Kelvin series.
I could still buy 1) The Crossfield class is as old as the registry #'s indicate, but the Glenn & Discovery are new builds or 2) The Glenn and Discovery are also as old as the registry #'s indicate, but have been rebuilt/refitted and like the TMP Enterprise are "almost entirely new ships".
I am not being obtuse. You said that only events are canon. How does changing character's gender change the events?
I've never liked it.This thread has been a real eye opener. Will Enterprise-D ever suffer this same level of revulsion? Maybe in twenty years.
