TrekMovie.com has a pic from the Kelvin. It appears to have the same font as TOS on the hull, contrary to what we saw in the teaser (but with red trim like in the movies). It looks like it's registry is NCC-0514.

I believe they're phaser turrets. They do kind of look like a step between ENT and TOS.

It also looks as if there is a bit of TNG homage in the detailing as well - "Phaser ridge", though it's either just structural, or part of the shields.

This looks awesome. I love it, I really do. My only nitpicks are I would've preferred ball turrets on the Kelvin, the weapons look a bit like the same old pea-shooters we've always seen, and I'm not so wild about the atmospheric-looking firey explosions and smoke... but still! Awesomeness in the extreme!

I burst out laughing at this pictures, it looks like a Sci-Fi channel original movie. Maybe if the explosions are nice I'll be able to enjoy it the same way I do the new Knight Rider.

All of this is very encouraging! The uniforms look great they have an added texture. The bridge is just awesome looking, very advanced and high tech.

I can't wait to see this movie!!

The only problems I have with the pics so far is that the Kelvin has too much of a TOS movie feel (I mean TMP-VI) to it but I think that's minor. How are they going to account for the drastic change to the the Enterprise bridge? The Pike era bridge is identical to the one they had in TOS besides colors and those lamps, or are they going to retcon the Pike era bridge?

How does it look like a Scifi Channel original movie? I mean I know they suck...I just don't know how you get that vibe from the set design.

I don't know. The silly computer panels and greeblies and lights everywhere... It's like an iPod collided with a set from Stargate: Atlantis. I can't really describe it. It feels haphazard.

I just watched “Entertainment Tonight” and they showed a FULL picture of the Kelvin from the new “Entertainment Weekly.” It was a quick “Rumor or Real” feature they do talking about William Shatner returning to Star Trek (which they debunked.)

So what we got is an obvious close up.. compared to what will be in the upcoming "Entertainment Weekly."

Actually thats not a bad description...

Someone who saw the bridge earlier in the year...I think it was someone at AICN, said the same thing about the Ipod look. He said that it looked like someone at Apple got their hands on the thing.
