I think the 2006 CGI would be the biggest problem. They would have to update that stuff because to my eyes some of those images look tacky.My questions would be,
• Are we missing anything in the 1080p (basically 2K) presentation that 4K would provide?
• Are the fading negatives up for this, at this point in the 21st century?
• Would the studio just upscale its existing 2K scans with AI and charge us for 4K?
Even back then, I would have been fine with a simple remastering and clean up of the film. That was really all that show needed.
